View Full Version : Why Is It That The Only Team That Can Beat Da Cavs Is The Only Team Da Nets Can Beat?

The Bobcats have recently given the Nets their fith win (second from the Bobcats this season: the only team to lose to the lowly Nets twice), and also recently handed the Cavs their second straigh loss, and the third loss at the hands of the Bobcats (who are the only team to beat the Cavs more than twice this season).

Seriously, WTF is up with that?

You know what's the worse part. He spells the word "the" correctly twice and decides to spell it "Da" the other two times. :eyebrow:

I've always looked at the bobcats as a higher energy team. They bring their A games against the Cavs and play their heart out but I take they take the nets for granted.

courtney lee? it seems like the games he shows up are against the bobcats. he's amazingly inconsistent (loss: 13pts, wins: 21 and 27 and averages 11.7ppg)

I like the thread title. Best one on page 1 of the NBA forum right now. Don't worry about da proofreading police. They're the type of people who glance at their crotch 100x a day just to make sure their fly is zipped.

Does anyone else find this eerily similar to the way Golden State owned Dallas in the 06-07 regular season and then upset them in the playoffs?

I had typed "the" originally, but the title will only hold so many characters and I only got to "be" and I needed "at?".

But thanks for the insult ;-)

Why did the bobcats beat the cavs? yet lose to the nets?

Yes we will watch. The nets are gonna go on a 25 game win streak and make it in and beat the cavs in the first round

I think the first game was close to Jacksons debut with the bobcats. Regardless, Nets caught them twice at the right time.
I really don't think it's about matchups because outside of Brook, the Bobcats own them in every aspect.
In a best of 7, the Cats probably win in 5 or 6.

Nets have much talent to have that kind of record.

The NBA is crazy, should goes to show you that anybody can get hot. Last year, the Bobcats didn't make the playoffs yet sweep the Lakers series. Crazy.

Matchups and that's not the only team that can beat them, but they are the only team that's done it consistently though.

The Nets are really a good team, they just play lights out against the Bobcats to prove that they can beat the team that beat the Cavs. So in reality.....

Nets>>>>> Cavs

The Cats were 2-0 against the Lakers last year. I remember the year before LeBron went to the Cavs, the Wolves were the best team in the west, and the Cavs were HORRIBLE. And the Cavs whipped them twice. Some teams just either get lucky, or match up well.
