A mild sprain of his left ankle will keep Chris Bosh from realizing a goal of playing every game in this season.

Just finished practice at the Air Canada Centre to be told Bosh won’t travel with the team for Friday’s game in New Jersey, the first one he’ll sit out after playing all fifty three so far this season.

Bosh was hurt late in Wednesday’s game against Memphis when he blocked a shot and came down awkwardly. He finished the game but the ankle worsened over night.

He wandered out of practice in a sweat suit about forty minutes before it finished and was off to get more tests done.

Coach Jay Triano said he’s mulling over a couple of possibilities as a replacement for Bosh against the Nets but won’t make up his mind until Friday.

There was no word on whether Bosh would be available for Saturday’s home game against the Washington.

TheKing23
02-19-2010, 09:07 PM
Wow... Poor Jamison is having a awful game. I think it'll take him a few games till he starts to click with the team.

Still his ability to spread the floor has helped Shaq. He's hardly been doubled and is 4-7 for 8 points and 5 rebounds.

stawka
02-19-2010, 09:12 PM
The Bobcats are so fkn tough, that trade has helped them a lot and you can actually see it.

Yeah Jamison will struggle for at least another week or so, and that's fine - As long as we get the W I don't care how bad he does, by Playoff time he'll be fine

San Antonio @ Philadelphia San Antonio is a messed up team this year..
Denver @ Washington Tough one, have to pick Washington on this one
Cleveland @ Charlotte Shaqs gonna gas out. Heard Jamison is on a slump.
Indiana @ New Orleans Going with NO on this one. Might be a close game.
Milwaukee @ Detroit I guess they're gonna do good on this trade.
Chicago @ Minnesota I just don't like Chicago at the moment. No offense.
Toronto @ New Jersey Enough said
Dallas @ Orlando Dallas is a great team now with a better roster.. now
Miami @ Memphis No D.Wade, right?
Atlanta @ Phoenix Not sure, but taking Atlanta.
Utah @ Golden State Last two Golden state games at home were a blowout.
Boston @ Portland Portland has an injured roster.. enough said.

@bigsam50 , Stephen Jackson tends to do better with a playoff contending team.

The Bobcats deserve to be the 5th or 6th seed in the East... They're a tough team and I can see them pushing the Magic or Celtics to a game 7 in the first round...

Gibby23
02-19-2010, 10:26 PM
The Bobcats made some great trades. Now they have 3 guys that they can put on Lebron and all 3 play good D on him. S Jax, G Wallace, and Tyrus can all do a good job on him. Larry Brown is molding this team like he did with the Pistons.

DerekRE_3

I'll take 9 points, 12 boards, and 6 blocks from Tyrus Thomas.

Jays Claw

The Bobcats are tough when they're at home. Believe me when I say that. They blew the Raptors out of town! We lost by thirty five. They certainly have the potential to upset a top four team in the playoffs.

I like watching teams win against a higher ranked team.. unexpected wins are fun.

Looking forward to the playoffs, watching Charlotte beat the Number 1 seed (if they are the 8th seed). Might be another upset like Golden state beating Dallas in the playoffs.

You know what, the I'm surprised to say this but the Wiz have a nice group of youngsters on that team.

McGee
Thornton who played great
Nick Young
Foye
Blatche

Really good talent on that team, they really need a leader though.

Any back to back is tough, regardless of how far you have to travel.

Factor in the OT loss that broke our 13 game win streak and playing one of the toughest teams in the league and it's far from embarrassing...

in a way thats valid. look at the hawks. very competetive in every game against the cavs but they got screwed over one game with teh clock but other games they just got tired. they got lucky to face them on a back to back the hawks were tired. the record does not reflect the competition level.
only place that has a back to back advantage is denver cause of the elevation
