When Dallas gels they will be. The trade they made makes them better.

I agree. I think the Lakers are a better team than Denver, but I think it will be Bron vs. Mello in the NBA Finals.

Nuggets. I think they still beat Dallas in a 7 game series if they face each other this year.

if the jazz had a better center or something i would say that, but i still put utah at #3, they are only behind denver by 1 game, if the nuggets lose tonight its only a half game behind the nuggets

but nobody in this thread is being biased at all......lol...especially the op, considering his SN includes colorado

these threads are pointless cause everybody is just going to say there favorite team

honestly i think its

Lakers
Denver
Utah
Dallas

as my top 4

My list would go like this

But realy 4-6 and 7-9 are interchangeable.

It didn't take long for me to agree with someone.

The Mavs are too soft.

Caron Butler and Haywood are anything but soft.

Butler's nick name is "touch juice" and Haywood is one of only 3 centers averaging atleast 10 rebounds and 2 blocks - the other 2 being Howard and Bogut.

Remember, the only players remaining from their starting line up from last year are Dirk and Kidd. Butler, Haywood, and Marion have been inserted for Howard, Dampier, and Antoine freakin Wright.

In a 7 game series I call Dallas in 6.

I love how the Thunder are getting no love as even a top 4 team.

The best part? They're on a 7 game win streak (best in the West currently), and during that streak they beat Portland, Dallas, and Denver. Not to mention they're 2-0 against Utah this season and 1-0 against Phoenix, but yeah... they don't stand a chance.

The Mavs are too soft.

Too soft? After the trade?

Caron Butler, Shawn Marion, Brendan Haywood? Not soft at all..

I really want to say my Spurs are the best in the West with the Lakers 2nd. But the undeniable reality is they are not even the 3rd best team in the West right now. They are ranked 5th with the Jazz at 4th. Lakers are 1st and as of right now the Nuggets are 2nd. But depending how well the Mavs new crew gels they can totally wind up being the 2nd best easily with a possible showdown between them and the Lakers.

When the Mavs gel I guarentee, at minimum, they make it to the WCF.

Book it, quote me, whatever you want.

Denver, then Utah as a close 3rd.
