Do yuu guys think he goes back to Cleveland with all those forwards an centers or goes to a team with possibly more playing time, Dallas or SanAntonio. Ideas?

He'll go back to Cleveland.

I think the NBA needs to make it so you can't be traded then sign with your original team in the same season.

Cleveland.

His agent has said his heart is with the city, and can you really see him signing with another team for about 5 minutes extra playing time a game (if that) as opposed to re-signing with a team he has spent 13 years with and will eventually retire his jersey...

where has it said anywhere that he's going to be bought out?

Yeah, that whole deal of being traded, then getting release and signing with your formal team is b/s......NBA needs to enforce a rule on that.

He'll go back to Cleveland, he's played there his whole life, I don't see him leaving now.

He will for sure go back to the Cavs, I bet they've already discussed it.

I actually hope he goes back to Cleveland. I would really like to see him calling it a career with potentially a championship ring in Cleveland. The guy is a class act and he deserves a ring more than anyone on that team.

Has it been confirmed anywhere that he's being bought out?

Dallas desperately needs a big man with Dampier being out a while now, but don't see Z going anywhere but Cleveland if he is bought out.

I second that. Why trade someone, only to get them back. It's like inside trading. It should not be allowed.

If he gets bought out, yeah, back to Cleveland he goes. He's going to look up and see a Dallas team that wants him...but one that may not make it to the WCO, let alone the Finals. With Cleveland, he has a much better chance of making it to the ECO and the Finals.

Also, overnight study of numbers shows Wizards still over the luxury tax line. Buying out Ilgauskas could save $5-$7 million. No brainer.

It's not confirmed, but as Brian Windhorst said, it's a "no brainer"

Why pay $5-7 million in tax money for a guy that won't see a lot of playing time. This is a chance for the Wiz to give McGee and Blatche a ton of playing time and hope they develop into something nice, whilst losing some games and improving their pick.

I couldn't have said it better myself... I actually get choked up a little bit when I think about him having to leave and play for another organization.

He handled the trade rumors so well, and really wasn't against being traded to help improve the chances of the Cavs winning.
