JA Adande today said that Stat might stay with the Suns on the Suns-Mavs halftime show. Cleveland is out, Miami is pushing but maybe don't have the pieces, really who else is there? Unless the Bulls are clearing up space to trade for him then sign him to an extension i don't get whats going on. What do you guys think staying or going by tomorrow?

You all most have to trade him now. maybe you can s/t in the offseason?

i think he is staying in phoenix. the cavs have pretty much been eliminated as a possible team. i dont see a team out there that would have enough pieces to get him now.

I'm pretty confident, know with the Cavs out of the race, Amar'e Stoudemire will still be a Phoenix Suns player after the deadline.

I think he'll stay for the rest of the season, but he'll be gone in the offseason.

The only deal that would make sense for the Suns for Stat is Philly's offer of Iggy and Dalembert.

One league source with knowledge of the talks was skeptical the Suns will make any trade.

“No deal will happen,” the source said. “Miami is a long shot, at best.”

I think he will still be a Sun

Chris Tomasson at Fanhouse just reported and confirmed after speaking with Amare that he will not be traded, so I'm gonna lock this one up. Article at this thread (http://www.prosportsdaily.com/forums/showthread.php?t=457818).
