i like tough, physical game 7's where the game comes down to a couple possessions and each player puts all their energy into winning the game. both the lakers series with the kings and blazers had great game 7s, so it doesn't matter if its high scoring as long as both teams are in danger of losing if they take a couple possessions off.

I think with the low scoring games it means teams are trying to lock down defensively.

I agree. The low scoring tends to be an indicator of really physical basketball as well, which is great in a game seven.

Either way though, as long as it's a close, competitive game what more can we ask for?

I'd much rather see a defensive-minded game, than a shootout all night long.

high scoring, it just seems more fun to watch for me

I love watching high scoring games. They were FAR MORE fun.

But for a Game 7, the defensive intensity knowing that each player is truly grinding it out and knowing that each basket possesses "that" much more value.

Low scoring - more defensively minded game and likely working much harder to put the bucket in the net. And when a big play happens, it can mean more.

The NBA is the one sport where I don't like defensive battles. Much more exciting when players are sinking big shots left and right.

Both, as long as its competitive.

High scoring of course with the big shots and excitement, but low scoring as well cuz of the defense and physicality of the game.

I was fortunate enough to go to Spurs-Pistons and it's the best game of basketball I've ever seen live. It was a true defensive battle, you know you get all these college games with kids playing tight zones and no one really talented enough to break them, those aren't fun to watch. The Pistons and Spurs were top 3 defenses filled with veterans who knew exactly what their roles were. The game was incredibly intense and for as well as the defenses played neither team made a ton of mistakes on the offensive end but they did struggle to get good looks.

If I ever get into coaching that game tape will be what I use to teach defense.

I dont care as long as the team i want to win actually wins.

But there are some series where it doesn't even matter. Like Atlanta vs Miami last year.

I don't know

Crowds tend to be into it when the defense is playing good
Crowds say (DEFENSE) I like how their voices be deep

But at the same time I like high scoring games so idk

Crowds are more nervous in closer games.

High scoring, both teams. It's not fun to watch a team beat another team by a significant amount of points. More entertaining if it's a competitive game for all four-quarters. OT makes Game 7 extremely epic, but I doubt that'll happen. /keep dreaming

Just a very good solid game that goes down to the wire. For me it doesn't really matter if its high scoring or low scoring, as long as its close for the entire game.
