What team do you guys think is poised to become the NEXT dynasty in the NBA (if any)? I think itís the Cavs. Provided they can get a legit big and lock LeBron up they got what it takes to be dominant for years to come.

The Lakers of course as well but I think the reason why their second (IMO) is the X factor of Lebron James.

OKC is another intriguing possibility.

Can't make any calls on this until after this summer. So much can change, so many big names either staying or moving. You can't tell. I thought Boston had a dynasty coming, but obviously were slowed by injuries. We'll see if the Lakers can win again and start another dynasty, but it all depends on what these FA's do this summer.

The Lakers have always been a dynasty for decades. And Kobes dynasty coming to an end. I think there could be a Bulls dynasty if Rose finds an allstar big. Also Cleveland, Miami, Orlando and OKC if everyone resigns and gets a valuable piece after this season.

portland. So much young talent in one place at one time is a very rare thing.

The Cavs after this summer goes smoothly...of course the Lakers could be until Kobe retires.....look out for Charlotte and OKC along with Portland but only if Oden can stay healthy for a year (and keep it in his pants haha)

If by "Dynasty," you mean a team that can win 3 or more championship titles in a decade... like the Spurs and Lakers in recent memory...then barring the most obvious, I'd have to say that all of the teams have a shot. But it really depends on where Wade and LeBron end up, and whether or not Kobe re-signs and for how long.

The Thunder for sure. They have the hall of fame 1st option in Kevin Durant, then they have the all star talent point guard Russell Westbrook. The good scoring and defending 2 guard James Harden. Very very talented and underrated and overshadowed player in Jeff Green. All they need to add is a very servicable big man and there set. If that Tyson Chandler trade went down last year then WOAH

lol, some Cavs fans are so naive and funny at the same time.

In order to have a developing dynasty......you must get that first championship. That's the first step ladies and gentleman, lol.

thunder and blazers are definitely candidates for being dynasties. if oden can stay healthy, a big if, then they have the potential to be a great team. okc can be great as well if they can get a good big man on their squad.

blazers and thunder. i have problems with these selections. alot of talent but they cant pay them all. both will run into that issue. okc does have a great core, but 0 post presence. remember the baby bulls? if i were okc i would find a post player fast

The THUNDER have a guaranteed dynasty! Maybe Memphis, Portland, Cavs (if Bron stays) or Miami.

And then the Knicks. We getting Lebron! But even if that doesnt happen after a decade of disappointment. 2010 decade is OUR TIME!

lakers are more likey than cavs at this moment. they have their core locked up-bynum, gasol, odom, artest, bryant(soon or an extension will come). and they are always a great MLE destination for somebody taking less to win

The thread is THE NEXT NBA DYNASTY so IMO that means the team that's next in line to win three titles in, let's say 5 years, and oh btw right now they're the best team in the NBA and they just keep getting better.

so everyone who posted here saying the thunder are just as wrong right? and that means the only dynasty that has potential is the lakers because they just won the championship right?
