I don't know which is worse, but I think they both cost us championships

Shaq going to the Lakers... that was really bad, and

getting Grant Hill and him being hurt forever and ever, then when he got healthy he left for the suns b/c he wanted to contend, hahahahaha that makes me happy he's not on our team since we are the ones contending, plus I met the guy with steve francis and DH and he was a tool and the other guys were cool, especially Franchise, he talked to my boy and I for like 10 minutes

1. Shaq bolting to go to a larger market after losing in the ECF and the Finals the year before in the Summer of 96.
2. Game 1 of the 95 Finals, Nick Anderson clanking 4 FTs that would have iced the game.
3. The epic failure of the T-Mac/Grant era. I thought we had MJ and Pippen part two...how much more wrong could have I been.
4. Vazquez over Granger- a guy I really, really, really wanted.

Good question; it's hard to pick an outright favourite for the Suns. The coin toss, 75-76 Finals, 80-81 Playoff failure, 92-93 Finals, 04-05 WC Finals, 06-07 WC Semi Finals etc.

02-10-2010, 07:09 PM
For the Timberwolves, its a tie between:

a.) Stephon Marbury loosing his marbles and demanding to be traded...

b.) Joe Smith scandal, which in turn pretty much ruined the entire KG era.

Drafting Darko over Melo, Wade, and Bosh

But if the Pistons would have had any of those 3 in the draft instead of Darko, would they have pulled the trigger to trade for Sheed in the middle of the season? I dont think they do, and they wouldnt have won the East, let alone the Championship IMO.

It wasnt a complete failure for that reason, and that reason alone.

I actually think they still would have traded for Rasheed Wallace(seeing that they gave up pretty much nothing for him). They only thing that would have changed for the Pistons if they would have drafted Carmelo Anthony was that Stuckey would not be here(seeing that we traded Darko for him) and Billups would still be here.

First thing I thought of was Chick Hearn passing.

That was tough, but it kind of brought the franchise together. He's still remembered with the Sunday Whites, and the Lakers have book drives every year in his honour I think. So while his passing was tough, it inspired the franchise to better itself.

A really low moment for the Lakers (and NBA) in my opinion was how George Mikan was allowed to suffer through the last years of his life without any help from the team or league he helped to build. I'll always have a ton of respect for Shaq for paying all the funeral costs for Mikan's family, but George should never have been abandoned by the Lakers or the league in the first place.

I suppose when we drafted Nikoloz Tskitishvili in 2002, that was pretty harsh.

But I suppose our worst moment's have to be Trevor Ariza stealing a chance at the game last year not once but twice.

Anthony Cater making his first start of what ended up being 66 more starts in 07-08', has to be a close one to.

That was a beautiful play, great moment. and please tell me that quote isn't something someone really said... a baby momma being a birth mom. Really? What a ****ing idiot. I don't know if it's the fact of him being from Canada, or if he's from mayberry and whiter than Opie Griffith, but just for that comment Chris Bosh should sign with Detroit, so he can be close to Canada, but not on the team, and the Raptors should move to Mexico City. Birth Mom, OMG some people are stupid, Webster should put out an ebonics dictionary so that these people who "know" everything don't have to look stupid all the time.
