He has had so many moments this season when he led his team back and when he made some clutch baskets or defensive stops. Here are a few examples.

12/16/09 Wizards vs Kings - Having a chance to tie or go ahead, Gilbert Arenas was stripped by Evans and fouled with seconds left to win it.

12/19/09 Kings vs Bucks - Game winner over Andrew Bogut with 0.9 seconds left.

12/21/09 Kings vs Bulls - Scores 10 points in the 4th including the go ahead basket to overcome as much as 31 points down to win it.

1/09/10 Nuggets vs Kings - Drives into the lane to make a turnaround over Kenyon Martin with 0.7 seconds left to win it.

2/03/10 Spurs vs Kings - Not a win but made the game interesting when scoring 18 points in the final quarter and almost making a Tmac performance when coming back from 15 points in 2 mins and only losing by 2.

And finally tonight against the Knicks when he just took the team on his back losing by 15 with 4 minutes in the 4th to win it in overtime. Not a very good team but none the less he came back against them.

I could be forgetting a few more games but like I said. When was a rookie this clutch?

I'm pretty sure Ben Gordon hit a few big ones during his rookie campaign with the Bulls. I also remember Wade hitting that big shot in the playoffs.

But Tyreke is easily the ROY, hands down. The kid is a flat out beast.

Yeah Ben Gordon was way clutch as the 6th man for the Bulls.

And yeah, thats why we call him the TyFreak.

I think Rose was pretty clutch last year against the Celtics in the playoffs also.

I def think he will win ROY because brandon jennings has shot himself in the foot with all those subpar shooting nights but IMO Jennings would win it if he ever got that shooting percentage up around 42%. Jennings offers a dimension of playmaking ability passing the ball that Evans doesn't showcase.

Evans>>>>>> Curry.

Curry can't defend Evans to save his life.

Evans brings that toughness on D that Jennings doesn't posses. Evans Also creates Matchup problems because of his size and can flat out rebound. No way does Jennings win

Haha, yeah? Last time the two played against eachother:

Tyreke = 23pts 6rbs 4ast 2stl on 8-21 shooting.

Steph Curry = 27pts 9rbs 6ast 3stl on 10-22 shooting (10 of them were threes)

I'd say Steph played him JUST fine...

Tyreke is a beast and deserves his credit, and before Jan 1st was outplaying every rookie. But since 2010 hit the best rookie in the NBA has been Steph Curry. Curry is 5th in the league in steals and top ten in 3p%, a lot of upside for this kid. Jennings doesn't deserve to be in the discussion as of right now. Shot-chucking and missing. That's if we're being objective, though. If not then GO JENNINGS AND REKE!!

I don't feel like Jennings will win either but Jennings is not too shabby at defense either. We are evaluating guards so I don't believe rebounding is that big of an intangible. I do feel that Evans will win like previously stated because of his efficiency and consistency throughout the year but I don't think anyone can discount how important Jennings is to the Bucks.

Curry guarded him a ton, watched the game. Curry = progressively better as the season has gone on, as you can see.

I don't remember a rookie making two game-winners from my recollection as well as numerous clutch plays and quarters. Tyreke Evans is a pretty special player in both talent and build.

Don't want to sound like a broken record but Rose was pretty damn clutch last season and in the playoffs. :) One good example is the game against Houston when we were down by 15 and Rose completely took over and also hit the game winner

Steph Curry just put up 17pts (five 3's) / 5rbs / 5ast ..................... in the FIRST quarter.

If you're penciling in your ROY ballot already, then you haven't seen Curry play in the last 2 months.
