Since the All NBA Team is G, G, F, F and C no matter if there are two SG's or two PG's, two SF's or two PF's then here is how I see it.

First All Nba Team:
Dwight Howard
Kevin Durant
Lebron James
Kobe Bryant
Dwyane Wade

Second All Nba Team:
Pau Gasol
Tim Duncan
Carmelo Anthony
Steve Nash
Derrick Rose

Third All Nba Team:
Amare Stoudemire
Chris Bosh
Dirk Nowitzki
Joe Johnson
Deron Williams

Didn't put Roy or CP3 on the list because they will have missed 15+ games and their are other guys more deserving with how well the teams are playing without them.

Raph, I dislike Chris Bosh and all, but he is definitely a first or second team player at worst this year. I love TD as much as anyone, but Bosh is having a better and more consistent year. Also, Duncan has definitely been more of a C than a PF this year.

First Team:
Dwight Howard
Chris Bosh
Lebron James
Kobe Bryant
Steve Nash

Second Team:
Tim Duncan
Dirk Nowitzki
Kevin Durant
Dwyane Wade
Deron Williams

Third Team:
David Lee
Zach Randolph
Carmelo Anthony
Joe Johnson
Chauncey Billups

I left Paul out because his games played will be very low this year. \

If Cp3 has a healthy second half and the Hornets play as well as they had been, then he slides in. Kobe takes the back seat to Durant's consistently monstrous play and the fact that the Thunder are now a six seed in the West at this point.

Edit: And you just can't have Melo anywhere on here for the same reason Cp3 can't. They haven't even played 40 games.
Also, anybody who slides in Rajon Rondo or David Lee into the 3rd team gets zero argument here.

I've been a Bosh-hater since day one...until this year. He has to be first team, and if not second team. Third team is a joke for him. Duncan is a center, not a PF (Bosh has had a better year than Timmy anways, and I have such a stiffy for Timmy usually). He has been the best PF this year, bar none. He doesn't have bad games, ever. The most consistent player in the league IMO. He is good for 20 and 10 basically every single game.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but if you don't have Bosh in the first or second team, maybe you are a hater (my least favorite word EVER).

Just curious, but why do you dislike Chris Bosh?

I have no issues with him now. He just never had any team success, his defense is porous, his fans hype him up to no end, he plays a bit soft and he looks extremely goofy. I think most of those things don't apply anymore, you can figure out which ones do.

But this year, the Rapts are having success, he's been playing a little bit better on the defensive end, and his consistency is off the charts.

F- Gerald Wallace
G- Joe Johnson
G- Rajon Rondo

I feel like Kevin Durant plays for a much worse team than Carmelo, and Kevin has the Thunder in a playoff position right now. And Kevin has more steals, blocks, and rebounds than Carmelo, therefore Kevin gets the spot on the first team over Melo

1. Chris Paul - Injured or not, he's the best PG in the game.
2. Kobe Bryant - Best player in the game arguably
3. Kevin Durant - Leading league in scoring and leading a dismal 08-09 team into the playoff push.
4. LeBron James - He can play the 3 or 4, and he's, like Kobe, the best player in the game arguably.
5. Dwight Howard - Force.

I think Melo's being listed too high on a lot of people's lists. The guy has missed 13 of the last 19 games, and the team is still 8-5 without him. For what it's worth, when Chauncey doesn't play they've been 3-6 (though some of these both have not played, leaving them high 'n dry).

I can't think of a single good argument to have him on the first team over Durant or Kobe (I think Bosh has played good enough to warrant first team, which makes it so I'd move Durant slightly ahead of Kobe, pushing him to second team, but that's another matter).

For the people that have Melo ahead of Durant, can you explain why? The overall numbers (forgetting team impact or consistency, point to Durant also, so just curious if it's a name recognition thing or what).

2 guards, 2 forwards, and 1 center

G Steve nash
G Kobe Bryant
F Kevin Durant

C Dwight Howard

Dirk is not having a better season than Durant, Dirk's Mavs should be much higher in the standings while Durant's THunder are a big surprise. Melo has missed too many games to get that forward spot.

lol wut? Durant is a forward, Kobe is a guard. Hands down 1st team is Nash and Kobe, and center is Howard.

LeBron is defnitely one of the forwards. The other forward spot is between Durant, Melo and Dirk.

Eh, I don't know exactly how the NBA decides on their positions, but I do know that in fantasy ball for example Durant is both a sg and sf, and in games he plays that roll a large percentage of the time. He normally runs the point 7 or 8 times a game as well.

With Durant as a forward (if he wasn't guard eligible), then it is Lebron and either Bosh or Durant (Dirk right behind them and Melo not quite in consideration at this point... for any All NBA team, let alone 1st).

1. Tim Duncan IS listed at Centre (I'm Trinidadian that's how we spell Center). As far as this season goes he is second to Dwight.
2. Kaman has really improved and is more deserving than David Lee (Slightly), Lopez and Pau is NOT a 5.
3. IMO CP3 is the best pg in the NBA but the amount of time he's missed and is going to miss will really hurt his chance tho. I think he's gonna put up similar numbers to what he posted earlier and that may just give him the edge over Chauncey and Rose.
