I think all of us on PSD are in agreement that Thomas IS NOT the answer for the Clippers coachign woes. Dunleavy has been getting some heat from fans and yes, he has underachieved the last two seasons, but as General Manager he has done an outstadning job. He's drafted some solid players (Chris Kaman, Thorton and Eric Gordon) and he's signed some great talent (Davis) brought in Marcus Camby (though I think he should have hung onto Randolph and Richardson). Coupled with that he also actually lead the Clippers to a playoff series win which no coach has done for this team during its entire tenure in L.A. Dunleavy isn't perfect but he has brought some talent to the team, and though he isn't blending well with them i think he should stay on as GM.

But coaching? Who should replace him? Sam Mitchell? Avery Johnson? Byron Scott? Or perhaps the Clippers might consider giving a coachign job to some former players looking to begin a coaching career (Scottie Pippen and Bill Laimbeer come to mind). There are some talented coaches out there.

I'm a clipper fan and I can't agree with u more Isiah is NOT the answer. The clippers have very good talent and they showed that at times, but they always seemed to be under achievers. I personally would love to se Byron Scott come in and put his stamp on this team they have the athletisim to run and gun, but they also have the presence in the low post to dominate. They have the perimeter people to drain the three I feel that a new voice with a new fresh style would do them wonders great post!!

Byron Scott or Avery Johnson would do a good job with that team.
