Who is your pick to win the 2010 Sprint Cup Championship and why?

Kyle Busch. He is not gonna race a full Nationwide schedule this year so he will be better focused on the Sprint Cup. Plus I think he matured alot since the start of last season.

Its so hard to make a pick like this so I will give my opinions about all the guys I could see contending

Jimmie Johnson- Until someone proves that this team isnt the best in NASCAR, I dont see why he shouldnt be the favorite

Jeff Gordon- He's good, the team is good probably the second best in NASCAR, but when the best team has all the same equipment and resources as you do, it is unlikely to beat them, but possible

Tony Stewart- I think he had a great first season as an owner-driver and I think he could really be the one to contend for the first owner-driver championship since Alan Kulwicki

Mark Martin- Always will finish 2nd in the championship standings, but always will be a contender.

Kyle Busch- I believe with him missing the chase last year really taught him that points racing is O.K. to do. I think he learned you dont have to win every time you have a good car to be successful. He is only 24, and if he ever matures fully and I think he will, he might go down as 1 of the top 5 guys to ever drive.

Denny Hamlin- Will make bone-headed moves to make sure he doesnt win the championship.

Carl Edwards- Eh.. not really sure what to say about him, but cant see him repeating his 08 season

So my picks among contenders: Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Tony Stewart.

My pick to win it all: Until somebody knocks him off, I gatta pick Jimmie Johnson

Jimmie Johnson, the 10 races in the chase are Johnsons 10 best tracks.

Anybody but Jimmie Johnson I would be happy with. I really want Mark Martin to win it though. He's starting off this year a lot better then he did last year, and he finished 2nd in the standings at the end....who knows:pray:

I love Jeff Gordon. Been watching him forever and want to see him win every year. But Jimmie is just way too good in the chase. I gotta say Jimmie gets it again.

If you gave him Roush, Hendrick or RCR equipment he could.

He does kinda fall under the Roush/Yates banner. Front Row Racing is getting support from them. So is David Gilliland and the rookie Conway. He maybe like 7th or 8th in the priority order after the Roush/Yates/Petty drivers but he's still in a better position then when where he was last season.

Right now, I'll say Harvick. Even though JJ's won two of the three races so far, Harvick's been right there.
