Detroit @ Indiana - Two equally terrible teams, Indy's the home team, they win.
Washington @ Orlando - No-brainer. Orlando is the third best home team.
New Jersey @ Boston - Another no-brainer.
Milwaukee @ New York - Again, equally poor teams. Advantage: home team.
Chicago @ Atlanta - No Noah, no chance.
Philadelphia @ New Orleans - Will be a very close game.
Houston @ Memphis - See a trend with my picks?
Minnesota @ Dallas - Minny's won 3 games on the road. Not gonna get 4 now.
Phoenix @ Sacramento - Phoenix is really getting hot.
Denver @ LA Lakers - Melo still out, making the smart decision not to return until he's 100%.

Carmelo out for tonight's game.

I'm disappointed, I think the Nuggets will be the team to knock out LA so I wanted to test that theory tonight.

The Laker front court should never allow a game verse the Nuggets to be close...with or without Melo. Nene and Martin are way too undersized to guard Pau and Bynum.

The Laker's size is too much for Denver to handle.

ManRam
02-06-2010, 01:17 AM
Chauncey is insane. The Lakers bigs are killing the Nugget's...mainly on the boards.

If Chauncey wasn't playing out of his mind this could be a 15 point deficit for them.

TheKing23
02-06-2010, 01:21 AM
Holy ****!

Chauncey is an absolute flamethrower! 8 three's, three in a row. Guy is as hot as it gets.

ManRam
02-06-2010, 01:22 AM
He's unreal. IMO, even when Melo is healthy, he's the MVP of the Nuggs.

nipo10847

Chauncey Billups: Already with 9 three pointers by the end of 3rd quarter!

ManRam
02-06-2010, 01:28 AM
He's gotta make 4 more to break the record. He isn't "about" to break it. He "might"...

Couldn't agree more. He brings so many intangibles to the team and I think he's a big reason why Ty Lawson is playing so well out there at the moment.

Billups balling today.

nipo10847
02-06-2010, 01:55 AM
lol...billups stepped in 6 minutes left in the 4th and has tried only one three pointer since. He is probably thinking Smith and other players has been hot enough to maintain a 10 point lead.

shep33
02-06-2010, 01:58 AM
This is a weird game (Lakers and Nuggs) I mean I give cred to Denver, but man they are hitting unbeliveably tough shots! Billups had 9 3's, after 3 quarters, Lawson and Smith especially hit really crazy shots. So i don't really know what to take from this game with Melo out, and these guys makin sick shots. Haha credit to the Nuggs but man i don't think those guys are gonna do that consistently in a 7 game series. Biggest threat to the lakers though in the west.

Denver's backcourt killed us tonight. Chauncey had 39 and Jr Smith had 27. Lawson came in and was huge as well. Denver has a lot of fire power. Hats off to the Nuggets, they out played us.

What an embarrassing loss for the Lakers...

Losing by 13 to a Nuggets team without it's leading scorer and main go-to guy.

ManRam

Laker's starting guards: 0 assists. Laker's starting forwards: 10. There definitely was a major lack of ball movement. Pau looked like the best passer they had tonight.

Does anyone hear Marc Jackson? This guy always sounds like he's playing a major drama part in a movie or something.

He really annoys me sometimes. He basically goes into every game and says "Mama there goes that man!", "Hand down man down!" and "That's a grown man move!" and provides very little else to the telecast.

The Nuggets are a tough team man. Their bigs are always physical, and since Billups arrive their mental toughness has probably tripled or quardoupled.

Great game from them, they deserved the game.

When a team goes 15-22 from 3pt you can beat any team. It was their night where everything they threw up went in.

a team played a perfect game. its interesting if this amazing luck continues against utah tomorrow. if ever a hot streak should continue its with a back to back so you dont have a day off for it to cool off. i wonder how they will do in utah.

Funny how the Cavs lost to that same team (without Melo) and you were nowhere to be seen.
