IMO i still think when healthy they're the team to beat in the east. That being said, they've looked slow and their age is showing. I think they match up fine with Cleveland or Orlando, but if an athletic team like Atlanta takes them 7, i just don't think they'd have the legs to beat Cleveland or Orlando in the conference finals. Now... should they trade Ray Allen? Cause I think they'd defintely need an upgrade off the bench. They could take a chance by going after say Iggy, Monta, or even McGrady (long shot), but then again, people gotta remember that Ray is pretty clutch and it takes away a guy who is gonna knock down clutch freethrows and 3's, while being the most conditioned player on the team, for a new guy that has to fit in by the playoffs. What do you guys think? Still a top 3 team? Need a trade?

Currently, no..but KG has been out and once they get the chemistry going again etc. they will be the team to beat ahead of ORL and ATL

They are the most physical team in the NBA Today. Their physicality, cohesiveness and defense will always keep them in the elite conversation.

Yeah they match up well against Cleveland and Orlando, but I just think if they go through the 1st 2 rounds playing 6-7 game series, at their age they might just falter down the stretch. Especially against younger, atheltic one like Atlanta, Chicago, or maybe even Charlotte. I'd rest KG for a while, any maybe make a minor trade to upgrade their bench, cause they have trouble scoring, especially on the frontline.

The East is Cleveland's to lose and the West is LA's to lose.

statisically they're behind the hawks for the 3rd spot in east.

But I still think they're a top 3 team in the east.

Yes.
1.Cleveland
2. Atlanta
3. Boston

But Boston better pray someone takes out Atlanta in an earlier series. No way Boston can run with the Hawks in a series.

wow.. no respect for boston. In my eyes the east is bostons to lose with cleveland close to them followed by orlando and atlanta.

matchup wise yeah, boston wouldnt beat atlanta but i think boston would beat the cavs and orlando. And at the same time i dont see atlanta beating either cleveland or orlando in a series

How can you even put Atlanta over Orlando. Orlando's 3-0 on the season, and more likely to go further in the playoffs, I don't see the comparison.

Yes, they are still in the top 3. The top teams in the East are still Orlando, Cleveland and Boston.

Yes they are but they're #3 and could be on their way to #4 very shortly.

They are still top three, but Cleveland is clearly the class of the East right now.

Their still the team to beat. Once the playoffs around, they will be the hardest team to beat in a series in the East. IMO, Orlando has the biggest shot at knocking them out in the East.

Where does Cleveland fall into the equation? Not even mentioning them is laughable.

Their the best team in the NBA right now and certainly the best in the East by quite a margin. But come playoff time, IMO Boston has too many weapons and the experience to beat out the Cavs. And Orlando is another team that scares me because they too have too much firepower and whatsoever experience. Cleveland lacks the offensive firepower besides Lebron.

They are going to be the 4th or 5th seed and probably play the Raptors in the first round. They might be too beat up and tired come playoff time.

yes, when healthy they're the top team.
