What is the Biggest Gap in Years between Allstar Appearance for a NBA Franchise/Team?

For instance the last Allstar the Bulls had was in 1998 in MJ and this year we finally get another allstar in 2010 which is a span of 12 years.

Has any other franchise had that big of a gap in allstar appearances?

Very good question JB.

Im not sure, but I know Shawn Kemp was an all-star for the Sonics, but I'm not sure if he was an all-star for the Cavaliers. But LeBron became an all-star in 2005, so I'm not really sure. Maybe someone can help me on that one.

I think Shareef Abdur Rahim may have been an all-star for the Vancouver Grizzlies yrs ago (again, I'm not sure about this one either), but now, the Memphis Grizzlies have Z-BO this yr

Knicks running 9 years now, don't know if there is a team with a longer drought.

Does anyone know the last time the Lakers didn't have an All-Star?

The Knicks will get an all star next year, don't worry......

damn that is pretty long for bulls fan. 12 years?

raptors inaugural season was 95. Vince Carter was the first all-star in raps history. He made it in 2000. So we went 5 years w/o an allstar.

then when vince left in 04, we didn't have an a rep in the allstar until 06. So it hasn't been that bad.

Looks like the lockout was the only thing that can stop Lakers from making ASGs :D

Wow.

I still think the bulls 12 years is pretty surprising. They had a few bad seasons but they had some seasons being top in the east.
