Damn that's a expensive water bottle

I think this may be even worse than the Gilbert Arenas gun situtation. Not only should he be suspended for the rest of the season like Arenas and Crittenton, but maybe even beyond this yr all the way to the end of next season as well.

It's fair, simply because he hit it into the stands.

Good fine. Can't knock it into the crowd.

$25,000 for kicking a water bottle? That's some people's yearly salary... Unreal.

Proof that LeBron isn't the NBA's apparent "golden child" everyone seems to think he is.

I didn't realise he kicked it into the crowd.

Someone could've got hurt so it's a justified fine.

Surprised LeBron hasn't been crucified yet in this thread.

Really NBA? Just wow. Must have been Holy Water for 25k. I know this is chump change for Lebron but being fined 25k for that is just bizarre.

he deserved a double technical. If it was rasheed kicking that water bottle after getting a technical he would of been gone

It wasn't just a water bottle. It was a whole table with Gatorade bottles on it. Big. Watch the video on youtube. The fans in the crowd were scared of it. Good fine but a little much

my bottles of water are at least $1.00 max.

NBA's bottle of waters are $25,000.

I think the funniest thing about the incident is that he clearly wasn't fouled but makes a HUGE ***** fit about it and then throws the tray of Gatorade cups into the stands and literally freaked out a few fans. Good for Lebron. His sense of self entitlement is beyond through the roof at this point.

Clearly wasn't fouled? How about you go back and watch it. He gets raked across the body when driving through the lane and then draws contact under the basket.

I don't even know why I am bothering telling you this though. Most LeBron fans are still able to appreciate Kobe's greatness, so why can't Kobe fans appreciate LeBron's greatness without *****ing about every little thing.

He draws some minor contact while driving (stuff you see every game not called), but there is absolutely no contact while under the basket. Watch the video again. A player is there, but he doesn't touch Lebron and he completely backed out of Lebron's way. The only reason LBJ complained was because he missed the shot and he has a sense of self entitlement.

Poor little boy with glasses. I bet he gets picked on enough at school. He doesn't need 6'8 270 pound men throwing Gatorade in his face

The fine was warranted, he shouldn't have hit a cup in the stands no matter if he was upset about the non call.

wtf...this is the first time i seen the vid, i didnt know he was at home... He hit all that water at CAVS fans... Shows how much lebron thinks of his fans, look at him after he does it too,he looked TOTALLY expressionless.. I bet hes gonna come and and give an apology now, only because he got fined and its ruining his image... Ive said it before, and ill say it again, Lebron is a lil baby when he doesnt get his way,and he gets waaay pissed off when he doesnt get a call.. It sucks that arguably the leagues best player acts like this..:pity:

King James is starting to look more like Prince James and I'm starting to like him less than I originally did. First his outburst when he lost to the Magics in the playoffs and now him kicking some Gatorade water.

He did kick it, you have look at his left leg in the video it moves forward and both his shoulders rotates and his right arm reacts to the left leg moving back and forward meaning he had to kick something.

chump change for him anyway. atleast NBA is does not give fines to someone who use clippers during games. do it at the locker room or something.. it might injure someone too.

and also, it does not matter if he kicks it or not, still went through the crowd as you can see, and that my friend is very unprofessional. just think of something like throwing papers on your bosses face. ehh paper = cups, bosses = fans.

these are just fans, if it was in his bosses' face.. the outcome would be more than just a fine.

25,000 is nothing for Lebron. He got like $100000000000 before he came to the NBA lol.

If I got fined for $200 I would be cussing all over lol j/k.

On a serious note, what the hell NBA? Stern is having fun getting money.
