2005- 2006 Houston Rockets! TMac and Yao. Sadly enough i believe they were both named starters as well. They went on to finish the season 34-48 with both of them missing time with injuries of course. Nothing new i guess.

if the suns decide to continue sucking it up before the all star break, they could be. 2 starters.

The Pistons got Joe-D and Grant Hill on the All-Star team in 95 and finished 28-54 that year. And in 93 the Pistons finished 40-42 and got Dumars and Thomas on the team, and in 92 got three guys on the team (Rodman, Dumars and Thomas) and lost in the first round. In 92 the Rockets got Hakeem and Otis Thorpe on the team and missed the playoffs. The Cavs also got three guys on in 89 (Price, Nance and Daughtery) and like the Pistons lost in the first round (to some team from Chicago who only had one all-star on the team- some guy named Michael Jordan).

So yeah, it happens.

And the Lakers once got four guys on the All-Star team and were swept by the Jazz on the conference finals that year. But making the conference finals makes for a pretty decent season.

Yeah I forgot about the Rockets in 1992 and also the Pistons in 1995.

And the Suns had two guys on the all-star team last year (O'Neal and Amare) and missed the play-offs, though they did get 46 wins.

Didn't the Nets get Vince and Kidd in a couple years ago when they were below .500?

Yeah, apparently Kidd and Carter never made it in the same year. But I remember in one of those years, when they weren't all that good, and Vince was voted in, and a lot of commentators and analysts were like, you can't have two guys in the ASG from a team that bad. And apparently they didnt.
