SA and Houston-tough win for SA last time. Probably will be another last minute grinding win for the Spurs.

Big test for the Cats tomorrow. The road has...well....been tough to say the least, not to mention the Hawks have a very very solid team. The Bobcats have won their past 2 road games, we'll see if it carries over.

Probably the only night in my life I'm supporting the Lakers, they best win

and I'm pretty sure the Laker game is on espn, not Houston

I can't wait for the OKC-Memphis game. The game of elite youths at it's finest.

Toughest one to me was Boston and Portland, Boston is really hurting with KG out, and Portland is playing pretty good without Miller, but I think Boston has the experience to beat them.

Nice flop by Derek Fisher.

Nice little run the Bulls just went on there. If they can hang onto the lead they just built up for the next 2:30 or so and take it into the 2nd half it would give them a pretty good chance to steal a win in Phoenix, the way this game is going.

I've been pretty impressed with Hinrich's defense of Nash.

jimbobjarree
01-23-2010, 12:38 AM
bulls-suns is a big game for the Jazz. Bulls win and they solidify themselves in 8th making the Knicks pick more likely to be lottery, and also the suns losing would make the Jazz go into a three way tie for 6th seed with the Suns and Rockets, win win.

DenButsu
01-23-2010, 12:41 AM
I want the Bulls to win, but that definitely was a clean block by Lopez and shouldn't have been called a foul.

jimbobjarree

great, I turn the game on and its immediatly half time. Oh well, time for some breakfast before bed

RadiantShot

Yeah, I have a feeling that the Bulls will keep the tempo up in the second half. Put down PHX would come away with the win, but it's looking pretty shaky right now.

jimbobjarree
01-23-2010, 12:57 AM
lol on our league pass instead of going to commercials and the half time show, we can just hear the announcers talking to each other and see the cuts/features they're making at every break, its quite entertaining

BREAKING NEWS ON ESPN:

There will be breaking news about Arenas' suspension... next week.

DenButsu
01-23-2010, 01:53 AM
Gotta hand it to the Bulls for how they're hanging in this game. Thought at a couple moments PHX might break away, but they're just not letting them do it.

RadiantShot
01-23-2010, 01:58 AM
They aren't just hanging in.
Any time the Suns begin to build a lead, the Bulls come back and give themselves a cushion, should be interesting to see how this game plays out during the next 3 minutes.
Phoenix is shooting bricks right now though.

Huge b2b shots by Deng and Rose pretty much seal the deal. Gutsy win by the Bulls. Well done.

DenButsu
01-23-2010, 02:10 AM
BTW, people will credit Rose for this win (and he deserves a big share for sure), but to me it begins and ends with Hinrich's defense on Nash that really took him out of the game.

Nash on the season:
18.6 pts, .538 fg%, 11.2 ast, 3.1 reb

Tonight:
8/7/5, .333

RadiantShot
01-23-2010, 02:11 AM
Yeah..Or, Phoenix's inability to guard Rose. ;)

Yup, that's my guy Captain Kirk.

"Without him [Kirk Hinrich] in lineup Bulls are 1-6-opts shoot 47 %w/o him. 43% with him. Solid defender. That says it all." - Chuck Swirky on Twitter.

Great defense by Kirk, great game by Rose. Deng annoyed me even though he shot well cause many of those shots were fairly poor choices. Great defense from him though. Good job with Salmons off the bench.

I wish we still had Salmons....:sigh: Anything would be better than Andres Nocioni.

That's ok. Keep Nocioni away from our team at ALL costs. Has sucked since that contract.
