I am going to make a case for my favorite 2007 Mavs versus Warriors ( for obvious reasons ).

I would like to say, " **** YOU, CHRIS COHAN" for 17 years of little to no success and firing the one man who brought us this playoff series and dismantling the "We Believe" team.

All unbelievably great series'....but my favorite one is obviously the 2001 Eastern Conference Semi's.

AI drops 54, Vince goes for 50, and AI goes for 52 the night he's awarded the MVP(only he and MJ have gone for 50 twice in the same playoff series). It all came down to Vince's shot at the buzzer that went just long.

you sure? Wilt's had plenty of excellent playoff series.

2002 Lakers vs Kings was some of the most intense basketball I've ever seen.

game 7 overtime. thats all that needs to be said. that game took about 3 yrs off my life. it was quality opponents vs the bulls celtics one which was more exciting but it was just 2 reg teams playing hard.

I agree Game 7 all the way. Arco was the loudest place ever, the cow bell fiasco that caused Phil to wear ear plugs. Everyone hated everyone on those teams, which made basketball awesome. Game 7 overtime was ridiculous. Shaq destoyed the kings, and Kobe came up huge at times, and how about big shot Bob! Out of the ones listed I put this one 1st only b/c it went to a game 7 OT, and every play was soo intense, that game went back and forth like none i've ever seen too. I know Boston vs Chicago was crazy, but it was a first round series, which puts it lower on my list (2nd).

7 OTs 7 games...

I did really enjoy the Raptors-76ers matchup, the NBA had to be happy with that series

bulls celtics meant nothing in the grand scope of anything. Its not like these teams have a rivalry even the year after. Either laker series had a lot more drama and the lakers won the championship in both years. The horry shot and the kobe to shaq lob are two of the most memorable plays of the decade. What memorable shot was made in the bulls celtics series? The only plays i can think of are flagrant fouls

You obviously weren't paying attention. Tons of huge shots in that series: Ray Allen, Ben Gordon, Joakim's dunk.

2002 Lakers vs. Kings...just cuz of Horry with that game winning shot in game 6 i believe.

Bulls-Celtics. The most fun series I've seen to date.

Lakers Kings, best series I've ever seen. As a Laker fan there where times when I genuinely did not know who was going to win the series. Plus when you add in the little stuff like Phil calling Sac a "cow town," the Sac fans with the cowbells, Bibby becoming a certified star, Shaq calling them the "Queens" it was a classic rivalry. Not to mention the shot heard around the world and if Sacramento wins that series they probably win the championship.

lakers-kings. But just about every series on that list could make a claim at that title.

That doesn't take away from it being the best series ever. The bolded shows you didn't even watch the series.
