In my opinion, the all-star game should be based on the best players being voted in and ignoring positions all together.

Why is Randolph not in the West?
Pierce or Gerald Wallace over Granger (Granger has been out almost all year)
Jamison in Randolph's place
Arenas (if he still counts) in Rose's place

Voting in the NBA is a joke. What they should really do... Have fans vote for 10 guys in each conference and have the coaches vote for 10 more guys from each conference (who didn't get selected by the fans). Now each coach picks the AS rosters based on the 20 guys selected in each conference (Kinda like a draft). But I digress...

Starting Lineups:

West
PG: Deron Williams (Sorry Chris, but Deron is better)
SG: Kobe
SF: Anthony
PF: Dirk
C: Duncan (Tough Pick)

East
PG: Rondo (I didn't wanna pick him, but I think I maybe forgetting someone)
SG: Wade
SF: Lebron
PF: Bosh (No way should KG start... Bosh is leading the league in double doubles)
C: Howard

1. Kamen over both of them

2. Jamison losing team wont make prob since KG is going to get voted in but maybe Josh Smith

3. Hell no to Arenas over Rose losing team and Arenas is suspened for the year. Rose the 2nd best PG performing wise in the East behind Rondo.

1. Jennings shooting 40 percent from the field and Rondo and Rose are better but Jenning beats out Mo Williams

2. Iggy losing team Crash is averaging a double double.

3. Lopez wont make it cuz his team is losing Noah instead.

Sorry I just find Jennings 18 - 6 more impressive then Rondo's 14 - 9. Rondo is doing nothing more then what he should be doing on a team that good. My roster was first team then second team. So Rose is my starter. As for Iggy the All Star roster isn't based on record its based mostly on numbers and highlights. Gerald Wallace is good but not good enough to beat out IGGY whose better all around to me. And Noah is nowhere near an all star sorry. One dimensional players who only rebound don't make all star games.

HAHAHAHAHA at Deron Williams being better then Chris Paul.

Pts: Williams 19.6 = Paul 19.5
Rbs:Williams 3.9 < Paul 4.5
Ast: Williams 9.7 <Paul 11.1
Stl: Williams 1.1 <Paul 2.3
TO: Williams 3.4 < Paul 2.3
FT: Williams 76% < Paul 83%
FG Williams .497 = Paul .495

He edges Williams in almost every catagory and Wiliams beats him in none and if he does its by 1 decimal point Paul beats him in over an assists a game, almost a rebound, a steal, has a whole TO less, shoots 7 pct better from the line and has less to work with in NO. sorry Deron your not better then Paul.

Some of this is true but its also based on players playing well dis season and are winning most of the time losing teams dont have they're players going to the allstar team. One dimensional players dont make the all-star team ? Ben Wallace ring a bell, plus Noah is averaging a double-double and his energy and fun would be welcomed in a all-star game. Plus Noah offensive game is way better than Wallace and is improving on that end hitting the occasional mid range jumper , put-back dunks, and hook shot.
I hate Rondo but he is the best playing PG in the East right now putting up triple-doubles and being on track every game while Brandon has been up and down since that 55 point game and is shooting bad. If u look at it this way he is still at 18 cuz of that 55 point game. I think he only had 2 or 3 twenty point game since then.
