The guy finally realized that playing with a fractured finger, dislocated pinky, and to top it off back spasms, cannot be done. He left the game in the third.

He needs to chill out, it's just January. No need to jeaporidize something that can come in and haunt you when playoffs roll around.

You're funny, you're always talking about Dampier like he's an impact player

The Mavs should have traded him right after he made that bone head play in the playoffs. He's always injured and IMO the Mavs do pretty well without him.

The Mavs should have gone after Vince Carter a long time ago when he was in NJ.

Carter + Kidd + Dirk = trouble.

Nobody said Damp was a "impact player" man but don't sit up here try to act like he's not important to the Mavs, your boy Andrew Bynum only had 12 points when Damp was gurading him in the first Mavs/Lakers game, when Damp didn't play in the second Mavs/Lakers game Bynum had 19 points without Damp on him might I add, Damp might not be able to score but he know's how to play some defense.

Hahaha! Mavrix is gone. The dude trash talked too much after winning the first game in October.

Sidenote: it's so funny how the Mavs commentators were suggesting that Dampier could slow down and punish Bynum (early in the first) by comparing the first and the second Dallas-LA game. Quickly right after, Bynum gets an and 1, an alley-op, and some more post up moves.

Nothing against the Mavs though. Personally, I like their team.

Yeah I know, I read. Don't even post in their forum. They will probably report you and you will receive an infraction. I do love how Marvix is no where to be seen on this thread. I can gurantee you if Mavs won he would be posting on this thread. He has no excuse and literally cannot say anything. Mavs fully healthy team against a Lakers team coming off a back to back, no Gasol, an ineffective Kobe Bryant on the Mavs homecourt.

Ballin, you remember me saying last week that Walton could impact the game more offensively than Howard?

Looks like I was right as he carved them up in the 4th quarter to help get Lamar and Farmar off.

He actually had two stupid *** turnovers in the final minute. Had me yelling at the TV screen. First he throws it away out of bounds with Dallas having a chance to tie the game, then he gets stripped by Kobe. Regardless Dirk tied the game, but Damp not being man enough to finish at the rim costed us the game.

Oh really? He had no lift on his shot. In fact he got blocked twice in the game in which he never gets blocked, and not to mention toward that last minutes of the 4th, crunch time, aka Mamba time, he airballed a shot. Do you think that is Kobe like? I assure you, if he was healthy, the ball would of been in his hands all the time deep in the 4th.

Once again:

Does he pass better?
Does he post better?
Does he finish at the basket better?
Does he read and react to defenses better?
Does he shoot free throws better?
Does he have a better mid range shot?
Does he use both hands better?

That determines the better offensive player not just 1 measly ppg :eyebrow:

Does he pass better? no
Does he post better? He's not a post player, they play 2 different positions
Does he finish at the basket better? 2 different positions, gasols points come from tip backs. he's 7 feet tall and plays around the basket
Does he read and react to defenses better? equal
Does he shoot free throws better? yup for his career he shoots 77% compared to pau's 74%
Does he have a better mid range shot? yup.
Does he use both hands better? they both use both their hands

That determines the better offensive player not just 1 measly ppg :eyebrow:

No, I don't care who the Lakers play. If the Lakers can't win it, I would rather the Spurs win it over any other team. Duncan doesn't stick his toung out and flash 3 fingers after hitting a game tying 3 with enoough time left on the clock for Kobe to win it. The Spurs are a class act, if they beat us, they beat us.

Go read one of you Kobe Mags Lakers homer, the Laker only beat the Mavs by 5 point's not 36 like the rest of the Lakers homers thought was gonna happen again, oh and if I where you I would even say a damm thing about Pau untill he proves he can play a without getting hurt yet again.

Oh no, the Lakers only beat the team with the 2nd best record in the West by 5 points on the road without Gasol and Kobe only scoring 10 points. The NBA should not count this as a win.

Very classy response, I love how you totally ignore the Pau point. This is the first time in his career he has had missed significant time for an injury, and I'm not concerned. You should be the last guy talking, you Mavs fans can hardly talk when your "highly treasured" Howard is a rare sight in the NBA the past few seasons.
