He had 20 points at the end of the FIRST. If he was shooting 8-20 or something I wouldn't even bother posting. But he is on FIRE. 8-8 from the field. Might be something to watch out for through the night.

His teammates are doing way too well for him to even come close to a record. This game will be a laugher. Mike Brown wont leave him out there in the 4th if it stays this way.

He slowed it down, just 24 points now. That first quarter was something to watch though.

he's doing well. but its hard to maintain when you get hot in the FIRST quarter. because you sit, and team have half time to adjust.
i doubt he even goes over 45.

20 in the 1st (12 min.) and 11 in the 2nd (7 min.) is a pretty solid start. Too bad he probably won't even play the 4th.

he started real good, but if the cavs get a big lead going into the 4th he would probably be taken out and sit the rest of the quarter ending up with 40 to 50 pts.

Never going to happen. Kobe took 46 shots that game. LeBron will never ever be able to get that many shots off in a game on the Cavs. I mean, Kobe was playing with Smush Parker, Kwame Brown, Chris Mihm and LO that night. He had to take 46 shots. LeBron's got a good team around him. It would be detrimental for him to shoot it 46 times, even if he made it 28 times.

On another note, Kobe is 7% from the field at halftime.

I must say, Doris Burke is the best national color commentator that basketball has, maybe even sports. Gus Johnson's enthusiasm is uncanny, but Burke's insights are more dense than a shot put ball.

2 more assists for a triple double. I don't know why, but it annoys me when a player finishes extremely close to a triple double, only needing 1 or 2 assists/rebounds.

seems to me that this happens to lebron ALL the time. I wonder how many of those games he has had in his career where he finished 1/2 ast/rebounds short of a trip dub

One day Lebron will hit 70 or 80, I have no doubt. I'm not sure if he'll break Kobe's 81 points. He's not going to break Wilt's, that's a given. I'll say LeBron reaches 73 points.
