Personally i'd love to see Bosh and LeBron pair up as well as Wade and Amare or Wade and Yao...Am i crazy?? Is there a chance any of this would work out if so which teams can handle those contracts or do you think any elite free agents will sign for the vet min and with what teams...

i've never understood why these sort of things never happen to begin with. they could all play together and rule this league for a decade if they could just be satisfied with being filthy rich instead of ridiculously over-the-top wealthy. you would think there would be at least 1 star every decade or so who would say "I can live with being quote unquote underpaid for a chance to create a dynasty and be remembered 50 years from now."

I'm not talking about the occasional guy who sacrifices some coin for long term security at a slightly reduced rate. I'm talking about somebody like Lebron or Wade signing for the midlevel for a chance to play with Duncan and create history. You know who would have done that? Bill Russell. Where the Russell's at these days?

Lebron and wade should pair up and come to phoenix. With amare resigning. I know it won't happen unless they all decide to sign for 7 million each. Imagine
Pg. Nash
Sg. Wade
Sf.Lebron
Pf. Amare
C. Frye

They can do that towards the end of their careers. Thats what players do towards the end. But LEbron and Wade are still in their prime, why would they take the MLE? LOL

to build a dynasty, cause they claim to like winning, because they are already incredibly wealthy, to be remembered the way the Celtics of the 60's are. i could go on but if you have to ask i don't think you'd understand.

Not possible, Lebron's going to want 18 million +, and Wade would want at least 15-18 as well...But a man can dream, can't he?

Let's throw bosh in for frye!

Haha Lmao, okay, I'll stop the bashing.

If LeBron truely cares about winning and being the best....he should go to Houston. James & Yao, not only is that duo a cash mecca...they could be the new Kobe & Shaq of this decade.....they would become a dynasty no doubt....and LeBrons status would become even more popular worldwide and he would make waaay more money through his popularity in advertisments and jerseys in the chinese market.

Why would he go to a NYK team that is even worse than the team he is on now that wont win in the finals. He needs to go to HTOWN where Battier can contest the best shooters in the west. LeBron just dominates and would have the pressure to do everything taken off of him. have consistent players in Scola, Brooks, Scola, Lowry.

that is scary and that is what I think should happen.

James needs a big that can knock down an open shot..yao would be perfect for him...maybe they would play together in NJ...Yao goes because of YI and James goes because of Jay-Z..lopez moves to pf,keep harris as your pg and then makes a trade for a 3 point shotting sg

There are only 4 superstar free agents on the market
- Wade

i think the team that lands Wade and Bosh....or Wade and another decent free agent....
can compete for a title (especially in the East)
Lebron James will not win a title ....unless he goes to a stacked team.....
and even then its a maybe....

They are all stars; T-Mac and Iverson still are bigger stars than all of them and Wade/Lebron are current superstars.

A'mare & Joe Johnson both sign with the NY Knicks. Both are grade "A" talent & both have performed great in D'Antoni's system.

I can A'Mare signing the max contract- $17.8 million per season
I can see Joe Johnson signing a 5yr 80mill- $16 million per season.

Proposed draft pick in 2011 draft:

33rd pick: Stanley Robinson, SF, UConn, 6-9, Sr.
=A ridiculous athlete with great ability to finish at the rim, Robinson needs to improve his outside shot if he is going to play at the next level.

Projected 2011 Lineup w/Amare & Johnson & Draft pick Robinson

C) A'Mare/ Eddie Curry(P.O)
PF) Jordan Hill/ Jared Jefferies
SF) D'Gallanari/S.Robinson
SG) Joe Johnson/Wilson Chandler(6th man)
PG) Toney Douglass

- Maybe add a veteran free agent PG in free agency; R. Alston, L.Ridnour, R.Felton.

and nobody said anything about caring about a popularity contest. this thread is discussing the current stars hyped up by the biggest and best FA class in league history. You think anyone would care about AI pairing up with anybody at this stage of his career? The guy couldnt crack the starting line-up on a lottery team! AI and TMAC are irrelevant at this point. They are players that their teams are willing to give up for anything. Does that say superstar to you? TMAC gets votes because he is on a team with a guy from a country with a billion people.
