should get starting job over Mario Chalmers and Carlos Arroyo.

Yeah if he is not their starter I would be surprised. Good signing.

better than Chris Quinn.

Hmm... Good signing considering Chalmers and Arroyo were sharing starters minutes.

Still doesn't address the problem Miami has... No shooting. 38% from the field during his career doesn't exactly fill anyone with optimism. Probably wouldn't start on many other teams in the league but considering he was picked up for peanuts, it's an ok signing.

He'll probably won't start his first or even second game with Miami. He'll need to be worked ino the rotation and re-learn the system.

Pretty much my feelings as well. He won't be a great fit, but considering the price tag he was a good pick up.

Good signing, there goes Arroyo's spot?

Right now, he's a better option for the Heat then Chalmers and even Arroyo.

But he needs to learn where he has to stand while Wade does everything :)

He'll get a better view if he's standing baseline :D

Anywhere inbound would do.

He's a good deal for what you guys could afford. Last year, without Rafer, I don't know where exactly we would've been in terms of the playoffs, and the regular season..Rafer has his big...Stupid moments, like when he misses a layup 2 feet from the basket with nobody around him...But he does have his moments where he can be a great player, I remember when he had what was it, 26 points? Against someone in the playoffs, he really sparked us to get us the win. Overall good pickup, just go easy on him if he ever isn't living up to expectations in certain games.

The Miami Heat signed a decent point guard. In my opinion, Rafer Alston is a ball dominant point guard. He looks for his offense first so don't be surprised to see him chucking shots early in the shot clock. I'm surprised he hasn't retired yet. There is no current team in the league looking to give him a major role with them.

Under-rated signing. Lou can straight up ball. Excellent pickup.

He wouldnt start on most NBA teams. But PG is the Heats weakest position and Skip is better than Arroyo and Chalmers. Should make the team better since what they sacrifice in talent they make up for in depth at the position. Glad to have him back.

Even though it sounds like a good signing you can't deny that the Heat now lacks a starter type PG for the future. The Heat will need to sign a Starting C, SF, and PG during the off-season. I don't know if they can afford to tie up max money in two players.

He did a good job for the Magic last year.

Alston was good enough to lead the Magic to the Finals last time I checked.

So we basically traded Quinn to the Nets for Alston. Not a bad trade lol

But go Dwyane Wade!

Not lead, but help get us there, I think Jameer could've done the same thing, overall it was the performances of the whole team.

And I'm glad you guys are happy with the pickup! You guys might be overrating him a tiny bit more then you should be though. ;)

But for you guys, I wouldn't doubt he'll help the team more then Chalmers and Arroyo, haha.

False. He's an upgrade over Quinn and will push Chalmers and Arroyo to be better.

He'll play decently (the way Jwill did) because he is a solid PG, and has played with Wade before.

this however, is not a permanent solution.

Everyone nose that Wade has to play with Kirk Hinrich, their backourt soulmates..
(even Steve Blake would be good)

Oh, so he 'nose?'

Everyone knows..That Dwyane Wade probably WON'T play with Kirk.
