Everything looks fine other than McGrady and Iverson... and I guess you could make a case for Bosh over Garnett.

Who else on Orlando makes the team? I'm sure that Dwight won't be the only one?
Also what about Cleveland? Do you put Mo on the team or Shaq?

For Boston: Obviously KG is in, but do you put Pierce, Allen or Rondo on the team as well?

For the Lakers: Obviously Kobe is in, but does Gasol get in or Bynum or even both.

For the Spurs: Does Duncan get in? Parker???

For the Blazers: Does Roy get in

For the Jazz: Does Deron or Boozer get in?

Why does T Mac have so many votes?

he's a popular guy. why did yi have so many votes last year? the all-star game balloting is a popularity contest.

For the east I'm sure either Mo or Shaq will get in for Cleveland. For Boston either Ray or Rondo.

Out west, not sure Billups will get in, he has been out some games this year.

Hold up, Aaron Brooks has more votes then Jason Kidd, Chauncy BIllips, Daron Williams, Manu, Brandon Roy & Tony Parker?

China should not be allowed to vote anymore.

In the West, Steve Nash should start the point. Is it supposed to be Kobe playing point with TMac at the 2?

Tracy McGrady should decline the starter role, but should still go since it's what the fan's want. So ridiculous though...

AirJordanXVIII

Iverson FTW haha.

Really sad though that McGrady is 2nd in the West... Hope at least Nash gets in.

F-Dirk, Pau

G-Kobe, Roy
G-Nash, Paul, Williams

and either Bynum, Jefferson, Evans or Parker for the final spot

This is so ridiculous some of these vote totals. I'm being a total homer, of course, but how do people like Dalembert and Brad Miller have more votes that David Lee?? I mean, c'mon now.

Also, lol to the guy who said China should not be allowed to vote anymore.

what a sorry *** joke this voting is. mcgrady has more votes than nash when nash is having one of the best seasons of his career at age 36? iverson who has had no significant impact since he joined the 76ers at the time when they were 5-11 and since he joined have lost 13 of 18? LOL the league should vote who gets in cus theres no point in fans voting cus some just dont know ****. show some love for Durant too. sheesh

and either Bynum, Jefferson, Evans or Parker for the final spot

What i dont understand is why is Amare considered a Center? If he is a Center then Gasol, Dirk, KG, and Duncan are all centers lol The funny thing is they are all Power Forwards, but all 4 of those players are better then the Centers the West has except Bynum, so if we make a allstar ballot with true centers then

C - Bynum, Jefferson
F - Gasol, Dirk
F - Melo, Durant
G - Kobe, Roy
G - Nash, Willaims

Chinesee voters...

No offense but seriously nba should do something about chinese votes. Aaron Brooks has more votes then Jason Kidd, Chauncy BIllips, Daron Williams, Manu, Brandon Roy & Tony Parker. Joke or what?

Reyes6
01-07-2010, 09:02 PM
If Yao was on the ballot I'm sure they would've voted his one foot in too. I don't mind China voting, it's expanding the NBA to different countries and eventually if the lineups become very heavily influenced by China, like Yi almost was last year... then they can make a change. For now it is fine, and T-Mac will probably not play anyway... I think he will respectfully decline his invitation to the game.

Vinny642

Jays Claw
01-07-2010, 09:17 PM
Chris Bosh should be ahead of Kevin Garnett. It's not even fair to compare both players this season. Kevin Garnett has been rock solid for a contending team while Chris Bosh has been a beast on a .500 team. However, I completely understand the flaws of the voting system and won't continue with my argument because of that.

no... they got it right. majority wins. it's a business and they want the fans deciding the starters cuz that's the business. it's a popularity contest. it ain't necessarily about who's good or who's not. if yi was healthy and wasn't a write in on the ballot, he'd be definitely a top 5 vote getter for forwards in the east. it's the all star game. it's the way it has been. it ain't about who deserves it more.

JeffG20

stop blamming the fans for putting T-mac in the all-star game.

if you want to blame anyone blame the NBA for even putting him on the ballot. yes the Fans are idiots but its the NBA's fault for allowing this

This system is flawed... if AI and T-Mac are voted starters, they should accept the invite but don't play. Give there spot to deserving players.

Second, there should be a minutes limit as well. If you have not played a certain amount of minutes you can not be voted an all-star.

Third, KG is not an all-star I'm sorry! He is averaging 15pts and 7 rbs, there are countless of players putting up similar numbers, plus he is not leading his team in any major statistics.

Lastly if David Lee does not make the team it is a pure tragedy!

the voting of the starters is crap to begin with. I would certainly hope tmac and iverson to the right thing and give up their spots. 2nd thing is Ive been reading everyone's posts and how in anyone's right mind can you put mo williams in the game over d rose? yes I am a bulls fan and I have watched this kid over the past month begin to dominate everyone. He is best PG in the east and deserves a spot. He should have made it last year. rose and rondo will get voted in over williams by coaches and what will happen is Shaq will get in for backup center even though Noah def deserves it and so does david Lee. But everyone not putting Rose on the squad is nuts.

I'm also a Bulls fan and think Rose should make the All Star team before Mo Williams does, but you saying he should have made it last year is a bit of a stretch. He was awesome for a rookie, but not quite All Star material yet.

And I hate Rondo with a passion, but still think he should also be an All Star as well.. My fingers trembled as I was typing that last sentence. :D
