It use to be like that before too but now they use all star jerseys instead. I don't know about some of you but i liked it when the players used their own jerseys instead of the all star jerseys like in baseball all star games. Sure i can understand if it can get confusing but it did not seem like a huge issue to me.

What do you think?

I used to love the old mix and matching of jerseys. So so cool. I hate the fact that the new Allstar jerseys just have a 1 inch logo of the team on the very back about their name. Talk about lack of team love.

I liked the old "wear your own jerseys" uniforms.

They should wear their own jerseys but the league wants to make money so they make new asg jerseys every year.

No I actully hated it. it looked dumb. The East wearing their "white" uniforms and the West wearing their color uniforms.

i used to love when they wore their own jerseys. the jerseys they wear now are really homo and it makes it harder to recognize the players sometimes.

I like when players where their own jerseys.
David Stern is constantly trying to push the comradery of the NBA. It doesn't make sense, players are still segregated by East and West and still go back to competing hard after the game. Why front? Let them wear their own jersey so that regular season pride shines through in their play.

Yes I enjoyed that in 1997 and 1998.

they should wear their own jerseys made in the home/ away colorways of the all-star host city, ie this year all the home conference players would wear their own white jersey, and all the away team would wear a navy mavericks-style blue version of their own teams jersey. they would sell so many jerseys! every year the all star editions would come out in a new colorway and people would go nuts to see them unveiled and then buy them. as long as the design was tight and they were well done

It won't come back. But I did love them back in the day. Kobe's first all-star game, and the alley-oop from KG with their different colored jerseys. Looked sicked. The only All Star jersey I liked was the the old school one they brought back for ATL. That was KILLER.

(PS If they were bring back the team unis and it were to be held in the WEST, it would be sick, Kobe and Gasol repping the purple and gold in a team of white.
