You just don't like Derozan do you? lol

Agreed with Sefolosha, he's decent, but isn't worth starting.

DeRozan would be in the top 10 worst NBA starters. Rookie or not, he's not good enough to be starting and wouldn't start on any of the elite teams.

I'm not a fan of having Ben Wallace as a starting center, but he is doing surprisingly well... Damien Wilkins and Chuck Hayes have to be considered... My vote goes to Keith Bogans though, even if he doesn't finish games, he starts 'em. Also note that Devin Brown can go away anytime.

I don't think so. I find the joke hilarious whenever I see it on PSD and I just wanted to get firsts.

But
He's on a team where their top 2 PGs pulled gat on one another so don't be surprised if he comes back to take the throne of worst starter in the NBA once again!

ManRam

James and Hassell don't start (anymore in Hassell's case).

James has played one game this year. Don't know why anyone mentioned him.

Duhon.

NYKnicks4511
01-01-2010, 11:19 PM
I'd say Jared Jeffries, and Chris Duhon should be taken into consideration.

JJ is an okay defender but aside from intangibles he brings on some nights he is just not worthy of starting.

Duhon is just plain awful. His tempo is awful, just disrupts our fluidity. Obviously I'm not a fan of his but I think he should be considered as well.

Whoever is starting over Terry, although Terry should be a 6 man (thats where hes best), the Mavs cant seem to find a decent starter to play when JT isnt on the court

You obviously haven't been watching the Mavs lately...Barea has been tearing it up at the 2, although he's way undersized. Howard is working his way back from an injury and has been coming off the bench with Terry but once Carlisle decides to put Howard back in the line up it will be

Kidd/Barea
Howard/Terry
Marion/Ross
Nowitzki/Thomas
Dampier/Gooden

yu cant really say that. im not being a homer. but some starts dont get all the same minutes. so yu can compare him.. and no hes actualyl been VERY solid. avering 7.7 ppg in 20 min? yu call that bad?

what the hell? Hayes? Sefolosha? that's crazy talk. both those guys will probably get some luv at the end of the season for DPOY. they won't win but neither Houston nor Oklahoma would even consider trading them so that should say plenty.

Derek Fisher is awful to watch sometimes.

Fish don't fool me, Horry and Shaw talked to him about it at the ring ceremony and said coast to make people think you fell off, then break their heart.

Go back to all his games this year that were bad:
- Got the stop to win the game in Houston
- Hit the 3 to set up the Kobe win vs Miami
- Made all the big plays in Sacramento and was the only reason Pau got the tip
- Hit the big jumper in Mil after what Redd thought was a dagger

Even game 1 versus Denver and Game 4 versus Orlando he was ice cold; man is playing poker

Just keep those minutes down and let the 3 young guards have turns closing to see which can fill his spot

so the solution is he should sit the first 3 quarters and then only play in the 4th

so the solution is he should sit the first 3 quarters and then only play in the 4th

He should be used like Horry, Harper, and Shaw were when they got older.

His main problem for his second stay has been he has had no reliable back up come January and even this year his minutes crept up (see last week).

Man is out Tommy-Green Ranger and his power supply is limited so we should use him while not overusing him like we did the past two years.

I mean I still get pissed thinking about him tearing a tendon in his foot 2 years ago and still logging 30 plus minutes a night and being asked to handle Deron/Parker/Iverson because Farmar went MIA.

Some guys, like Sefelosha (or however you spell it), set a pace defensively that warrants a role on a good team. Harden is a better player, but is a more effective 6th man...the worst starter, to me, usually comes off a team that sucks so badly...that they have no choice but to put garbage on the floor. That said...Damien Wilkins is hard to argue against.

Well the Blazers are at the point that they're using Juwan Howard and he was the 15th man to begin the season but he is doing a really good job.

How many times has a 15 man become a starter (occasional starter anyway), haha

And he thought he'd never see the court this yr with everybody in front of him. Now he's in the regular rotation, I love it.

Not really sure who is the worst starter though

roshan3ai
01-02-2010, 05:49 AM
chris duhon and jared jeffries

ESaady
01-02-2010, 05:56 AM
Well when Mikki Moore wasn't on the shelf with a heel injury, he was probably the worst starter.

As of right now I'd have to go with Nenad Kristic.

SpeeMN
01-02-2010, 12:18 PM
Damien Wilkins could be a good choice but he doesn't do bad every night, and he actually is a decent scorer and very active under the basket cleaning up rebounds and what not. He isn't starter material, but from what I've been hearing lately, I would say...
Chris Duhon, I hear he really sucks.

But really, I would think the worst starter would be some teams Center that has no motor skills and seems ********.... although i can't think of one....

Duhon

DODGERS&LAKERS
01-02-2010, 02:18 PM
Fisher! Worst shooting% for a starting point guard at 37%. Shooting 33.7% from three. Scoring 7 pts a game and three assist. Also ranking him last in the league in both categories at his position. Playing absolutely no defense and not even getting in the game of close 4th quarters. And that's pretty bad considering he has such poor players backing him up.

I prefer Duhon to Fisher and Arroyo just to name a few, so I do not think he is the worst starter in the NBA.

There is worse out there.

its his first year in the Nba he just picked up a new system learning the Nba tempo and is learning all kinds of new things. If this was his second year than i would uunderstand.

If he was in an ELite team i know he wouldnt start becuase obviuosly they have a line up that is working.
