McGrady and Iverson?

McGrady and Iverson do not deserve it.

T-Mac said he would step down if he was voted in but we all know Iverson wouldn't

Joe Johnson and Nash should be starting instead of McGrady and Iverson.

And it really is a shame Johnson only has 200,000.

And of course T-Mac leads Nash. What :bs:! T-Mac has hardly played this year, yet he is probably gonna end up starting. The all-star voting is a joke!

Seriously who is voting for Tracy Mcgrady?

12-31-2009, 03:39 PM
I know I'm a homer. But Deron Williams deserves to start in the All-Star game. If he gets snubbed again and doesn't even make it. The NBA needs to change how the All-Star team is picked.

McGrady will get passed. Iverson I have my doubts. Sickening. He shouldn't accept it if he gets in.

Steve Nash or Chris Paul will pass up McGrady as the starter...

I can't say the same for Iverson...

yeah, tmac leads nash by only 1005 votes. that will change within a day. tmac wont get anymore votes since his trade request. nash will keep getting them. mark my words, nash will be the second starting guard this year.

And why should he step down? Whether or not AI deserves it is not the question because he doesn't. But the fans want to see him play and that's why they vote for him... Honor the fans wishes and play if you get voted in. I'd do the same.

Or he can respect other players more deserving and give them the chance instead of him.

But seeing as Iverson is so full of himself, that will never happen.

A) He plays for OKC
B) Look at the names ahead of him

The West forward group is the most talented group in the voting categories.

Anyway, notice the trend in CHris Paul's votes. He started off very low and then boosted to third and now he isnt too far away from Nash. He will SURPASS McGrady!

In defense of Iverson. This will probi be his last season in the NBA so let him go out as an allstar (since he obviously aint going out with a ring). He deserves it!

I dont mind if AI makes it, i kind of want him to actually lol

Also, i really hope Nash starts for the west, he really deserves it this year. The only player on the suns who gives it his all every game. (other than Dudley)

I really wanted Vinsanity in there.

but w.e It is Iverson's last year most likely and pretty sure he's ending his career without a ring. So..w.e

I want Nash in that starting lineup though.

What if Tmac is traded on the day of the All-Star and he's a starter, who's jersey would he wear? I doubt he would want to represent Houston anymore.

Giantwarrior
12-31-2009, 07:03 PM
you guys forget that the all star game are for the FANS. thats why the fans vote. its a game played for the fans. Tmac and Ai should not be in the game, but the fans voted them in.

its not really who is deserving of all star honors, but more about who the fans want to see playing. we seem to forget that.

if you guys think its a Honors game, then they should take the voting away from the fans. and just lets the coaches vote.

Lord Leoshes
12-31-2009, 07:05 PM
My opinion is Fans should not be allowed to vote.

Let the coaches, & assistant coaches vote, but they can not vote for their own players.
& maybe a few (so called NBA experts).

Why no votes for Monta Ellis? 7th PPG, 2nd Stls, and 16th in APG. That deserves more votes than Brooks, Ginobli, and Terry.

Yeah because even though Dirk Nowitzki is having an MVP type of year and is playing better than Carmelo Anthony (who has twice as many votes), Pau is a Laker and should therefore start before Nowitzki even though Nowitzki has more votes and it's in Dallas.:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

Duncan >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Gasol

Because KG is in a team dominating other teams. Not like how much the raptors are losing.

pls man, the better player should get the spot. you know that i know that. hence why the team is called the all star team. because every one on the team should be playing at an all star level. not because he is a player that used to play at an all star level. like joe jonson not making it but iverson does. thats bogus too.
the yonger guys deserve it more its theyre time.

garnet averaging 15 and 7 doesnt exactly say all star to me.... and i was a huge kg fan, but its plain to see he isnt the same player he once was. he is still good but not better then bosh at this point. just look at the numbers its plain to see.
