This, and don't forget Boozer, he's been beasting too.

Booz wont make it. Just look at the West forwards (usually 5 forwards, 5 guards and 2 centers make the team): Melo, Dirk, Pau, Duncan, Durant. He doesn't deserve it over any of them. He's having a great year, but the forwards in the West are insane.

You know what, Zach Randolph should get the nod this year. This guy is BEASTING it up and he has his team in check. I wouldn't mind if he were to replace Pau or Duncan, he's having that great of a year.

Like this list, has everyone I feel earned a spot on the team. And out of Nene, Kaman, and Jefferson I'd have to go with Nene. He plays great defense, scores, rebounds but more importantly his team is third in the West while Kaman's and Jefferson's team isn't even in the playoffs.

Steve Nash should start for the West, so should Amare. I'm a little confused though, why is Amare being considered a center? He's been playing PF alongside Frye all year.

The thing that drives me so insane about the allstar game is the starters. Every year KG starts in the allstar game but over the past few seasons he has been very under deserving.. I sure as hell would not name him an allstar this year. Bosh should start hands down this year. He has easily been a top 10 player in the NBA this season.

Not there. It's clear that when Pau is healthy, Bynum struggles to contribute. He's at 11.6/6.1 in december. His FG% is down. Everything is down across the board.

He's at 14.8 and 8.1 on the season. I think the guys I listed, like Nene (13.7/8.3), Kaman (20.2/9.1) and Al Jefferson (17.3/9) all mean more to their team than Bynum.

Most of that is due to his team's success. He may have slowed down, but his team has always been near the top. Bosh, on the other hand, hasn't even led his team to a winning record this season.

Not saying that's the right way to do it, but that's usually how it goes down.

You know what hes been sucking of late but I had thought his stats on the year were still more impressive than every other Center in the West. I was wrong, I didnt know Nene was beasting it, somehow by becoming even less of a focal point.

Wheres Den to explain

I think your reading way too much into Pau's presence, the kid just has trouble with consistency but I agree atleast with Nene being a better decision. Not seeing how you think Al J (A guy who was sucking in a similar fashion to start the year), and Kaman (the center equivalent of Arenas at C, a guy I know you have a problem with offensively. And hes nowhere near the defender Bynum is and doesnt have Bynums offensive value either).

Look at their numbers and tell me if there's any alternatives.

Theres plenty, your just not looking at the right #'s

Gilbert Arenas? Luol Deng? Josh Smith? David Lee? Has the east gotten this bad? What about Ray Allen and Al Horford instead of Arenas and Lee.
I like your West picks even though I think Deron should be starting.

Ray allen over Arenas? what the heck?

Arenas: 22.9 point on 41.1% shooting, 6.9apg; 4.3rpg

Ray: 16.2 points on 45.5% shooting, 2.9apg, 3.3rpg

On the contrary to the majority's opinion, Arenas isnt having a bad season statistic wise. Considering the guy hasnt played for 2 years, hes putting up good numbers. The only thing is that the Wizards are struggling.

I cant immagine why should someone pick Ray over Arenas..The celtics winning record isnt that impressive considering they have the big three plus one of the top young PG-s in the league.
