Out of players currently in the NBA, who are going to be the ten best players in the NBA in five years?

Here's my list:

1 Lebron
2 D-Wade
3 Howard
4 Evans
5 CP3
6 Durrant
7 Griffin
8 D-Will
9 Melo
10 Roy

Wade will in 32 in five years. Kobe is 31 right now and he's one of the top two players in the league and he'll be one of the top two next year when he's 32.

His birthday is in a week or two. His game is so much more based on athleticism than Kobe's is and he's much more reckless with his body. For those type of players Kobe's 31 and Wade's 33 is a big difference imo.

To be honest, I still think Kobe will be dominating at 36+. If Nash can do it at his position, I'm sure Kobe, with his work ethic and athleticism, can be a top 10 player.

People say Kobe wont be a top 10, i think he will be. His game has changed through the years, but has always been successful. As he gets older, he will drive less, post up more, and shoot jumpers. So,e people might think this is bad, but when your as good a shooter as Kobe, its still damn good.

Top 3 will be:
LeBron
Melo
Dwight or CP

Im so mad Durant is low on ppl's list. The battle will be between Lebron and Durant for best player in the league in 5 years.

1. Lebron James (The best today and the best tommorrow)
2. Kevin Durant (Already Top 7)
3. Chris Paul (once he gets on a real team and starts winning everyone will hop on)

I dont know the order, but:
Carmelo Anthony,
Brook Lopez (There has to be a dominating center)
Dwight Howard (Finally has a true offensive game)
Brandon Jennings (You dont score 55pts in rookie yr and just dont make list)
Tyreke Evans (20-5-5 as a rookie)
Dwayne Wade (33 yrs old, but he's Wade)
Brandon Roy (Beast)
Chris Bosh (Now there will be a dominating PF in 5yrs)

D Wade will start to become more of a jump shooter in a couple years. Even though he's struggling, you can see the transformation of him not going to the basket to score every time. He's taking a lot more jump shots and he will start hitting them after he gets use to it. He will still be a top 3 player in the next 5 years especially if he gets some good players next year so he would stop carrying the load for the HEAT.

yeah...before he has stepped on the floor. thats amusing.
Then you have your old coach who can't even wipe himself saying he had a better shot than Malone did when he came into the league...Malone's shot sucked when he came into the league. It got vastly improved, not everyone can improve thier shot like that. Until he plays a game, i see him as a greg oden rather than a tim duncan. I may be wrong, but wait for this kid to play.

Why would it be amusing to put Evans over Rose? In his rookie year, Tyreke Evans is leading the Kings to an almost .500 record with little help. They have a better record than the Bulls and he's outplaying Rose.

If Kevin Martin was healthy, his points per game would be down substantially because he would take away a lot of shots fom Tyreke. The Kings schedule has also been pretty damn easy for a Western Conference team so far. It's also a complete joke that some people put Danilo in the top 10.

Why would he take shots from Tyreke? I think he would take minutes and shots from bench players. It is possible to have two guys score 20+ppg on one team. Actually it's rare but it's possible to have THREE guys score 20+ ppg on a team as well. I don't see Martin "substantially" effecting Evan's production at all. I think it would help him to have another weapon. LeBron didn't get worse when he went from having Eric Snow to Mo Williams. That's for sure.

His assists would definitely go up, but I think Martin is a bit of a ball hog. I think the Kings are a lot better when they let Evans create for himself. He is a good player, just don't think he will be in the top 10, and I think Rose has more potential.

Martin used to be Mr. Effecient a few years ago when he had real players around him. With Evans and Thompson coming into their own I think there's a real chance he could go back to being that type of off the ball deadly shooter who can get to the line. 6) Howard
7) Paul
8) Deron
9) Bosh
10) Roy

Kobe will still be a top ten player...probably top 5...but I already made the list and Im too lazy to fix it now.

Im also pretty sure some young players who arent in the league yet could make an impact...but since I havent seen them play in the NBA yet...I cant put them on this list.

Pau is locked up, Drew is locked up, and LO and Artest will be here for atleast 3 more years. His team will be still great which will allow him to perform at a high level as well. He relys on his skill now, not his athleticism as much. Lebron is the one who needs to worry if he wants to play after 32+.

Durant
Melo
Kobe
Wade/Paul
Bron
Wall
Evans
Jennings
D-Will

I really hope this isn't in order. Because if it is...

The list actually made me laugh out loud. Thanks for that.
