Which star do you think will shine the brightest on Christmas day. Before you make a decision based on someone you like, think about match-ups player versus player and team.

Miami v. New-York

Boston v. Orlando

Cleveland v. L.A

Denver v. Portland

Dwayne Wade for sure. The Knicks can't play defense if their lives depended on it.

I say the biggest grinch is the owner and management of the Goldenstate Warriors, for stealing good basketball from their own fans ;-)

Actually, Knicks have learned to play defense as a team, so we're still bad defensively at times but a lot better when we're focused.

This comes down to Carmelo or Kobe for me. LeBron will get his, but I doubt he will dominate against Ron Artest. Billups is a good defender and will slow down Nash. Brandon Roy could do well, but Afflalo is a solid defender. Carmelo doesn't have anyone to really stop him. Wade could erupt, but he only put up 26 on us the first time and that was when we played absolutely no defense. Rondo will probably have a good game but it's hard to imagine him as the one who shines the most out of this group. If Kobe's not guarded by LeBron (which is likely), he could tear it up and he has a lot of motivation to as well. So I'm gonna go with Kobe.

We've held our opponents under 100 points the past ten games, under 90 twice during that stretch...

I think all the usual suspects will have a good games (Melo,Kobe,Howard,LeBron,Wade,Gasol, Roy if he plays and all the rest of the big names).

I think Bayless go's off on the Nuggets for all to see, we'll I hope so anyway. I dont see anybody really stopping him from penetrating and he could give Nene problems in the lane which could make things interesting, Birdman probably has a nice game as well.

Im looking forward to see how Artest does against LeBron, I think he gets rode like Seattle Slew in route to 40 plus by LBJ but it wont be enough, Lakers still take it by 9. I expect Gasol will huge in this one 25/15 and Bynum will be excited to show up Shaq but the old man may be ready for it(Oops this isnt April's fool day by bad,Bynum busts him up) since he is returning to his place of glory and always wants to upstage Kobe (I wouldnt expect Kobe to get caught up in the hype of Kobe/LeBron or the Diesel's XMas day return to LA, he just wants the W, 28 for kobe).

I don't see anyone from the Blazers holding back Melo' and JR always seems to do well against them as well so he may be a suprise one.

But at the same time LeBron or Kobe are going to go hard, may be either.

As a Nuggets fan I'll take my boy Melo' but it could be anyone.

Well there was no reason for Wade to even try to score more as the Heat blew Knicks out of their own arena. Wade has the biggest chance tonight as the Knicks really don't have a defensive stopper to put on Wade when he goes hot. And don't tell Gallinari, remember what happened, when Danilo hit Wade last time? :D

I can be sure that Kobe and Lebron guard each other and that will be the matchup of the night but neither will be the grinch.

Melo has a good chance to be the winner in this one.

Yeah, I was wrong. I didn't notice how much they've slowed the pace and focused more on defense during their winning streak.

Dwayne Wade is still having a fairly good game though

I voted Rondo. I don't think it will be Dwight, and no other Magic is on it.

He looks ultra aggressive early on. Looking for his shot without Pierce in. I have a feeling he's gonna get a triple double.

Eh, it was somewhat of a quiet night till he scored the last 6 or 8 points in the 4th. He still got his usual 4-6 points of superstar calls

yeah he had a solid game. he needs to work on his ball handling and aggressiveness. he looked hesitant going at guys but i guess what else am i supposed to expect from a second year guy? he's impressive though. im glad i own him in my fantasy league. if anyone is gonna lure a big ticket item to the garden it's gonna be gallo.

Does Rondo have a triple double yet? I know he had double digit points and boards last time I checked.

Rondo was 18/13/8. Missed out on the triple double by two assists. If it weren't for the 8 TOs, I'd say he was ahead of Wade today for this award.

That's ironic, Rondo's averaging double digit assists but can't get 10 to get the triple double.

It seems like people who have good stats end up having a ton of turnovers or bad percentages from the field.

Hopefully Melo goes off and makes my prediction right. :D
