Should Marc Gasol make the all-star game? He is not the most gifted athete but he is skilled and gets the job done. With Yoa out, Shaq Gone East and Bynum hitting fatigue wall again Marc is posting the best numbers behind Stoudemire. Should he get the nod and come off the bench behind Stoudemire?

Bynums still better, and hasnt hit a wall dont know what would make you think that. His stats have suffered from Gasol's presence, I was hoping he wouldnt but the way hes played isnt too far off from his previous level of play, hes just too inconsistent on the boards.

Doesn't matter if he was putting up 20-10 he still wouldn't make it because he plays for the Memphis Griz and the All-Star game is nothing more then a popularity contest.

I would vote Z-Bo,Mayo, and Gay before Gasol

no

toudamire is in the ballot, and his brohter and duncan will not make it trough vots because of dirk and anthiny both of them will be in the roster by coachings vote and one of them will be the reserve center .

bynum is making "better" stats for a big market team.

so no he wont.

unless gay and mayo go clash in training and break each other legs and then suddenly they have to allow him 18 shots a game then he woudl score like 25 ppg and MAKE it.

Gasol would be right after Bynum IMO.

he better put up 28 and 15 if he wants to make it on that team in that league

Zach Randolph, Amar'e Stoudemire, Chris Kaman, Tim Duncan, Marc Gasol's chances are slim.
I don't see Bynum though since he's constantly in foul trouble!

Not the best argument to get him in.
I haven't seen enough of him to know, so I'll reserve judgement.

Why has everybody suddenly forgot about Chris Kaman? He's been GREAT this year and the Clippers actually aren't that bad. They would actually be a playoff team in the East.

12 guys make it. I think Dirk, Kaman, Duncan, Amare, Pau Gasol, and Boozer would all get in over Marc Gasol or Bynum. That's 6 big men alone who are more worthy. Amare, Pau, Duncan, Kaman and Jefferson can all play center too. I'd take Nene over those two as well. The coaches will take any of those guys over Marc or Drew...I'd hope.

Putting up good numbers, but do you really think hes better than Amare, Bynum, or Gasol (I know I am forgetting some other centers).

I don't think he'll make the All-Star game, but i do agree that if Marc had about 16 shots a game he would definitely average around 24 ppg ... he's a great big-man gets rebounds blocks nd knows how 2 pass.
