I actually think we can sneak one from Denver since we're home, but this is the first game since they knocked us out last playoffs. No one is gonna guard Melo though!
Start Wright and put him on Melo.

Don't forget Chauncey's out with an injury, so it should be a tough battle between the two teams.

He is officially ruled out?

Well good luck, I remember being in the Nuggets forums during the series, good times. :D

Yeah, it looks likely that Anthony Carter will take Billups' place in the starting lineup as Karl doesn't like to juggle the rotations too much (he usually brings Joey Graham or Renaldo Balkman in to start for K-Mart when he's injured, rather than starting Chris Andersen and losing the spark he brings off the bench).

Even so, this will be a big test for Ty Lawson. He's had some great games, and some rough ones, but so far in all the rough ones they've had the luxury of letting him take a seat on the bench to take the pressure off him. Not so in this game, and he'll be going head to head with CP3. I think he'll play well, though. He's had his best games on the road against tough teams, and I think he responds well to pressure and intensity.

I think the Nuggets frontcourt will probably do what they usually do, so basically it's up to Ty and J.R. (and defensively Afflalo and AC) to step their games up a notch or two. Should be a great game.

LOL at the Nets. They are so bad, I feel for their remaining fans. Hornets should win against the Chauncey-less Nuggets at home. Got Mavs over the Rockets in Big D. Warriors after that with a home win over the lowly Wizards.

love dallas fans! do you deny the hard work and effort by the rockets? the refs ******** the rockets all the time, you get a little taste of it and you turn off the tube? call a waaambulance. geez. and carl landry is officially toughest guy in the NBA (well southwest division at least) guy takes a bow to the grill, and leaves teeth fragments implanted in nowitzki's arm, diggler runs off to the locker room, carl proceeds to go off and lead the team to victory, awesome win for us. "took houston to overtime WITHOUT nowitzki" for real dude, you sure you want to use that excuse against this team? funny.

You're an idiot. You know damn well if Nowitzki never went out Dallas would have blown out your sorry *** team. Last 2 games Dallas dominated Houston winning by a combined 49 points.

Dallas to protest tonights game against Houston. One of the worst officiated games I've ever seen.

Because of "multiple mis-applications of the rules,'' according to owner Mark Cuban, the Mavericks are planning to start the process of protesting Friday night's 116-108 overtime loss to the Houston Rockets.

The Mavericks are upset with three specific plays: a clear-path foul called on Jason Terry, the out of bounds play with 0.4 seconds left that appeared to have occurred with one full second to play in regulation, and the flagrant-1 foul on Aaron Brooks in overtime.

Flagrant-1 fouls are not supposed to be reviewable, but a review took place with the referees around a TV.

^^ another pathetic whiny *** excuse by an egotistical owner, dallas wasnt good enough tonight, is that so hard to say? "if dirk this" "if dirk that" dumbass "IF" we had a couple of somewhat known players playing for us, it wouldnt be as lopsided as you think, just another example of how mentally weak the mavs are, and why they arent taken seriously in the postseason, when a team mans up and plays them tough, they resort to cheap shots and frustration fouls. its funny to me, because if you wanna talk about 'what if's' next year around this time we'll probably already have kicked 3 mudholes in your sorry *****. stop crying and be a man.

Where's KG?

Wolves won the last 2 outta 3.....That might be the only time that happens all year....However, Kevin Love has been insane since coming back from injury...averaging 14 points and 12 boards. Just happy to win a couple though.

Chris paul is ridiculous

He was insane in that game, that's for sure. The Nuggets just couldn't come up with a defensive answer for him.

And George Karl is a ****ing ****ty coach when he lets his love of his pet favorites get in the way of putting his best players on the floor. I blame the loss on him.

It's very funny how to talk about the Mavs "not taken seriously in the postseason" I mean really?...your Rocket's just one there first playoff series in some years and you talking about Dallas....how many time's have the Jazz beat the Rockets in the playoffs?....your one to talk when your team just one a playoff series last season I mean c'mon now, I can tell your happy about your Rockets "beating" Dallas for the first time this season but your post is stright TRASH, you and the rest of the Sheep Rockets fan where nowhere to be found when Dallas put up 130 point's on the Rocket's ***** on there own court to make even worse, if anything your the one that's need getting excited over a season win over Dallas.
