Jose Calderon's Status? Fantasy question

I have Jose Calderon on my fantasy basketball team and now comes word that he has re-aggravated a hip injury that may put him on the shelf for an indefinite period of time. Does anybody know how long he will be out? Overall, Jose has been a disappointment to me considering I used my 3rd pick on him. I was thinking of trading / dropping him from my team (even when healthy) and picking up Jarrett Jack. Any thoughts?

why would anyone pick jose as their third pick?

In a 12 team league, Jose could be a third round pick. His assists, FT% and lack of turnovers could be really helpful if you are picking in the 30-35 range.
