Other guys mentioned is Tyrus Thomas of the Bulls and Carlos Boozer of the Jazz.

It is said that Miami has shown the most interest in Mcgrady.

doesn't matter who he's gonna get traded to thsi season, because since he an expiring contract, he won't be with that same team next season. He's gone out on the record saying that if he could play with one player in the nba......it's Kobe "Jellybean" Bryant. T-Mac will be a Lakers in 2010 after they REPEAT as champs.....BOOK IT!

Lakersfan2483
12-13-2009, 05:30 PM
It T-Mac's contract wasn't so huge, I would take him on the Lakers in a reserve role. The reason I say reserve role is the fact that I don't where he is in terms of his injury as he had a major injury.

JO for T-Mac?

No way that happens. JO is working out fine so far, and starting centers do not exactly grow on trees. McGrady has not even played a game yet.

If the Rockets so clearly do not want him anymore they will not get anything significant in return.

Send him to the Cavs for Shaq and a filler.

The Cavs would have:

PG - MoWill
SG - Tmac
SF - Lebron
PF - Varejao
C - Ilgauskas

The Rockets would have:

PG - Brooks
SG - Ariza
SF - Battier
PF - Scola
C - Shaq

Works out for both teams Imo.

To me I think that is the most practical but Shaq would sit out if he had to go to Houston.

Thank you!

Hey fans,

I just wanted to extend a huge thank you to the best fans a player could ask for. When I saw the first results for All-Star voting this morning, I was blown away. I know itís early on in the voting, and thereís a long way to go, but it was an awesome feeling when I heard. Iím honored and humbled that you all have shown me so much love and you continue to support me through everything. From the messages left here on T-Mac.com and on my Facebook page, to all the votes that you have cast for the All-Star game, itís truly amazing how dedicated and supportive you all are, and I canít thank you enough for your kind words and the encouragement you send me each day. It makes me that much more determined to be the best player I can be when I get back out there.

Speaking of getting back out there, Iím sure you are anxious for an update. Weíre still taking it day by day, but the organization and I are optimistic that Iíll be back out there soon. We arenít targeting a specific game, but my coach and the trainers and I are working to determine the best time to make my return. As a competitor I want to be out there so badly, but at the same time I trust coach and the staff to help me make the decision thatís in the best interest of my health and the team. Itís still early in the season and everyone has stepped up and the team is playing great, so there is no need to rush things. Iím feeling better and more comfortable every day in practice and Iím getting my fitness back, so itís just a matter of time now.

Hopefully youíll see me out there soon!

Anyways, thanks again to the best fans in the world!

Mac

The Rockets don't want to play him, so that means they have to trade him. They can't afford the controversy if he's ready to play and they refuse to play him. That would get ugly.

The Knicks are the smartest trade partner. Mobley has a very attractive contract which is largely covered by insurance meaning the Rockets wouldn't pay much. The only thing is that Houston will have to take back Jeffries. But with the money they'd save on Mobley, they can afford to pay Jeffries next season.

Another trade partner is Utah if Utah would be willing to trade AK. Adelman knows AK would fit his system perfectly, but Utah has been unwilling to deal AK.

Why? We need to let the young guys play and start to mesh together and get another top pick and bring in a big man via FA next year, not bring in T-Mac.

during the raptors game yesterday, our commentators talked to T-Mac and asked him if he'd be ready to go in a month?

T-Mac responded saying he's ready to go after this half. It really seems that either T-Mac is not being honest and he's not 100 % or the Rockets really don't want him.

No more giving up 1st Rounders.... No more. We have lost out on some solid players in the last 5 years.... and probably a lottery pick this year.

I doubt the Rockets will take on Curry and Jefferies since they are not expiring after this year... why max yourself out on a year with some of the best FA?

If the Knicks want T-mac they will have to give up more that Nate, JJ, and Curry.... Chandler? Thats too much in my opinion... but the ability to dump Curry and JJ might make it worth it... unless Chandler turns into an all star.

TMac to the Knicks for Nate, Jeffries and Mobley. Houston saves tons of money with this deal because TMac makes more than those 3 and most of Mobley's contract is covered by insurance. Jeffries isn't great, but Adelman could use his versatility. Nate could provide the offense that Houston often needs.

Houston turns around and trades Battier & pieces for a much needed center like Brad Miller, Camby, Okur or Joe Priz.

Of course they need to put T-Mac on the trade block...too bad the Rockets can only determine his value as a trade piece by playing him. And if he gets injured again, he'll be even harder to deal.
