This is not a bash thread. I'm curious if you had the 1st overall pick, who would it be? How would you rank them from 1st pick to 10th pick? *only using the top 10 picks*

Derrick Rose - 1st overall
Michael Beasley - 2nd overall
O.J. Mayo - 3rd overall
Russell Westbrook - 4th overall
Kevin Love - 5th overall
Danila Gallinari - 6th overall
Eric Gordon - 7th overall
Joe Alexander - 8th overall
D.J. Augustin - 9th overall
Brook Lopez - 10th overall

I'd still take Rose. Brook would definitely not go 10th if teams had a do over. Joe Alexander would plummet.

I picked Gallinari.
Mark someone elses words... this guy is gonna be the biggest name from that draft.

A hater? This is not a hate/bash thread. Can people not like more productive players over 1st overall picks? Relax...

this will be revisited in a couple years. Love will be possibly the top pick

He very well could be. I love Love's game. Very efficient and dominates the boards.

Brook is amazing. I'm not even a Nets fan. I might go on a limb and say he's the best offensive center in the NBA. Maybe overall, MAYBE.

Brook is going to be a mini-Duncan. He has the skills and tools.

I agree with you. If you look at the other candidates, your statement doesn't seem to far off:

Dwight Howard - Can't hit a hook shot to save his life.
Andrew Bynum - Solid but not as efficient as Brook and doesn't finish consistently around the rim.
Al Jefferson - In my opinion, when fully fit, is probably just ahead of Lopez offensively. Best post moves in the league.

Yao is probably better as well when fit, but Lopez is fantastically both offensively and defensively. Should be an all star.

i'm as big a Nets fan as you'll find on this site, but Bynum is far more efficient than Lopez as of right now. some of that may be attributed to their surroundings, but even considering that the gap as of now is pretty wide.

Between Rose and Lopez. People don't seem to realize just how raw Rose is though. It's funny how many expected a great season about him this year (me included) after surpassing expectations in his rookie year, truth is, he still has a TON of learn including footwork, shooting mechanics, overall IQ and selling a foul.

I believe that Russell Westbrook will end up being the best guard in this draft, but Brook Lopez may become the most valuable player outta it....
