This is the closest comparison chart i've seen online... though I question it's validity.

However, a couple interesting thing i've seen is that VC has a lower vertical than Lebron and MJ. Also, despite his vertical being 5 inches less than Jordan's, his highest touch is higher.

My reasoning is that VC jumps higher from a run than Jordan does, and that's how they got their "highest touch" measurement?

Either way, another thing that impressed me is Shaq's 32inch vertical... a man of that size has no right being able to jump 32 inches off the floor and not breaking his knees. Shaq was a BEAST!

**** these speculations are based on the assumption that this chart is valid.

I think he used to. He was quite good when he first came into the league... even putting a 20/10 season before he suffered a knee injury.

He's still solid, but nothing like he used to be.

Holy hell!!!!

His vertical must've been up there, int he 40's or higher to get that kinda lift.

It depends on when they did these measurements at the point. Shaq's vert could be that high young in his career.

On a second look, that photo looks to have been photoshopped horribly.

In the second photo it appears Wilt's head is below the rim, assuming that the photo was taken at max height which it probably wasn't. If it was, at 7ft 1in it would require a vertical of 35 inches for his head to be level to the rim, not unreasonable and likely close to Wilt's actually vert.

he was 6-11 in high school but still 35 inches for an high school person in those days = :speechless: in college his vertical probaby increased because he set a record back in the day at kansas which was probably Wilt's easiest record to break
