How would you know if they never got PT?

I think if you have the potential to be an all-star this season...you'd be getting significant minutes. The coach would find a way to get you in games.

I don't think any one player named so far will ever be an all-star. Maybe Milsap or Bargs...but I still highly doubt it.

I don't get the Bargs mention (actually, I do...Raptor fans are nuts). He gets tons of minutes.

Yeah, Bargnani only gets 33 minutes a game...

Bayless is the first name that came to my mind. He definately has all-star potential but whether he will reach it or not I don't know. I'd love to see him get more playing time but we just can't seem to find a role for him at the Blazers.

It's tough to know what to do with him as we don't want to trade him away for peanuts only to see him go on and become that all-star (as we did with Jermaine O'neal) but because he hasn't proven anything we aren't going to get much in return for him. As a result he has been sitting around doing nothing for the last year.

I get the Mike James-type of posts (getting old, and decreasingly funny though). I don't get the Bargs...because he does have all-star potential down the road. Don't get the joke in that...

We aren't nuts.....jus very dedicated and Canadian. lol! Bargs is an all-star with some good coaching tho. I do agree with that. But Millsap honestly if Boozer wasn't there (he is there in a big way now tho) he'd be on the all-star team I think.

I said Bargnani because I'm trying to make fun of the people who overhype him.

Just like when I mock Lakers fans when they overhype Bynum, I do the same to Raps fans and overhyping Bargnani.

I know both are good and have potential but they are hyped up so much.

Yeah i totally agree. Not one of these players will ever be an all-star. If i had to throw in some names i'd go with Anthony Randolph(needs consistant minutes), DJ Augustin

Aren't jokes meant to be funny?

Raptors fans think so highly of Bargnani it's hard to tell when they are joking or not.

If your not sure if its a joke or not, it doesn't hurt to ask.

And since I'm clearly trying to make fun of Bargnani and the people who think highly of him, I'm not one of those that to hype him.

Will Bynum. He scored like 26 points in the 4th quarter of a game last season. He would be an easy all-star if he got playing time.

I like Bynum too...but if he would be an "easy all-star" why isn't he starting over Stuckey, who I'm not even a huge fan of in the first place? I don't buy it. I think he's a good player, but he is far from an all-star caliber player.
