After the loss to Denver, they are currently 3.5 games out of a playoff spot in the East. Does the AI addition get them in? I say they have a shot with the Bobcats and Raptors liable to fall out of the race at any time.

I think we're gonna have to wait until they've at least played 10 games together. It's possible though.

:pity: have you seen the raps play the last two games? I know its only been two games but they are on fire. Iverson wasnt even that good tonight. Who guarded Chauncey?

iverson wont mean mcuh fo a difference,

he is not the same man he was 10 years ago.

and if he tries to be it and shoot 20 shots a game then i got your answer NO:

They need iverson to be that 20ppg scorer Andre Can't do it alone.

Yes depending on two variables.

1. The East continuing to suck as a whole, which it will since you don't have to be a 500 team to qualify

2. Brand accepting a bench role. He and AI's game will not click as well as Dalembert, Iggy, Young, Williams, or Kapono from buzzer to buzzer as Brand clogs the lanes. Kapono needs to start over him to Lou gets healthy and be the new Korver.

I don't think AI is going to contribute that much more than Louis Murphy did. In other words, I don't see their record improving that much.

Yes.
The East is Weak. The way they were playing tonight, they could play 500 ball and get past a lot of teams. They looked better than I thought considering most of this team is not used to Iverson and they were short about 3 key rotation players (Williams, Holiday, Speights)

If they can win some games, and be in a playoff spot, then ya.

But thats gonna be alot of hard work, they're 5-16. Allen Iverson alone can't turn it around.

I think AI will be a solid role player, but I don't think he'll offer more than Lou Williams could before his injury. The numbers he was putting up were great. As such, I think they'll be on the outside looking in, but still..5-16 doesn't reflect how good this team is.

WTF!!

Iverson can't average 20 per game anymore maybe 16-17

but the answer is hell no!

Iverson's first game in a month, so he wasn't all that bad considering. The Raptors have nearly the worst defense in the NBA, so that's gonna cost them a lot of games. Injuries keep popping up too, as Bosh and Bargnani both are questionable for tonight. Calderon's play is a little off this year. He is not shooting free throws well (he's missed 10 already and he only missed 3 all of last year) and he's currently 2.5 assists per game behind last year's numbers.

I think they can do it. The sixth seed in the East right now is under .500, if Iverson can get a little chemistry with the Sixers they can make a run I think.

Iverson makes them a legit playoff caliber team talent-wise, but too early to tell if things will play out that way.

Maybe they get the final seed only to lose to Orlando or Boston.

Take names cause peeps bout to eat their words. AI is back and he is ready to ball. He has alot of rust and played too many minutes last night but he will be a factor.

The sixers always start poor, same last 2 seasons and still made playoffs. Charlotte with Capt jack is a playoff team, I still say Raptors don't make it. When Speights and Louis Williams come back the bench will add some scoring. AI will avg 20 ppg and 6 to 10 asssist. They will make the playoffs, AI will get back to top form and yŠll gonna eat your words.

Boston, Orlando, Cleveland, ATlanta, Miami, and Toronto are locks IMO. Then i have bulls, and after that its between: philly, bobcats, bucks.
