1) Kobe-Shaq alleyoop
2) Kobe's windmill over the Timberwolves
3) T-Mac over Bradley
4) Baron Davis over Andrei Kirilenko
5) LeBron James over Rasheed
6) LeBron James on KG

My pick is #1. It was just too memorable.

#1

#2 was bitter-sweet because that dunk caused the injury to his shoulder if I'm not mistaken.

B-diddy over Kirilenko was amazing though. I have to give him props as well as Bron for those 2 dunks.

T-mac's was nasty, but Bradley got dunked on by everyone and their mom. haha

Lets just pick Lebron. Cmon guys hes the face of the NBA, the best player today, maybe ever. Oh wait how many rings has he won again?

the lebron on the celtics was crazy and at a big point in the 4th. i know the kobe-shaq one was at the end of the game too and is probably the most memorable. i voted for the lebron one and i like the celtics. but kobe-shaq will probably win.

no, i think this baseline dunk was in the 3rd qtr. He injured it in the first qtr of that same game. I clearly remember when he was trying to dunk in the first qtr and Rasho Nesterovic, trying to block the dunk, came hard on Kobe's arm.

c'mon yo, no need for that crap again. he is a great great player. stop denigrating his greatness from using that same ole cliche crap.

The Kobe and Shaq alley oop was pretty sick. I think it's hard to top that moment.

Where's Wade on Varejao?

But I like the facials.

It's between Kobe's windmill and Lebron on Wallace.

The most significant one was Kobe to Shaq, i mean that just put the cap on one of the greatest games in NBA history. But if you wanna look at it individually, i gotta go with either Kobe's windmill on KG and Nesterovic, or B-Diddy's destruction of AK47.

Kobe lifted off pretty far. It would have been way nastier if it was more Garnett than Rasho.

Baron Davis

Agree. Kobe to Shaq had to be the most memorable play of my life to date....... but Davis on Kirenlenko was just plain nasty. Greatest playoff dunk IMHO.

Best dunk hands down is Vince Carter over 7'2" Frenchman Frederic Weis durin 2000 Olympics....hands down! Best dunk i've ever witnessed on live tv.

If only voting based on this list, BDiddy over AK47

Tough choice for me between LeBron's dunk on Rasheed or his dunk on KG... His dunk on Rasheed was part of one of the greatest performance in playoff history when he scored the Cavs' last 25 points.

The dunk on KG was so memorable because of the fact he had just won DPOY and then got destroyed by LeBron. Kevin Harlan made that one memorable as well, "LeBron with no regard for human life!"

Are you serious? His dunk against Rasheed didn't even come in the same Game where he had the scoring outburst. Both these dunks are mediocre to good at the very best IMO. I would say Horry's dunk against the Pistons was certainly better, McGrady on Bradley, Kobe alley from Shaw(one of the best alley oops I have ever seen).

I remember it was this game for sure and when I saw him rotating his shoulder, I thought it was this play, but I do remember the first quarter as well.

Couldn't remember which one of those actually caused it.

2 was the best dunk. 1 was the more important.

This.

#1 has to easily win this because of the immense significance of the alley-oop. It not only sealed the 2000 WCF for the Lakers, but signified that the Kobe-Shaq duo was ready to absolutely dominate the league (ensues three-peat).

#2 was the better dunk though.

Yeah, but I would give the slight edge to B-Diddy. I mean the place absolutely exploded and it was against a perennial defensive shot blocker.

It was a second round game where it ended up that Baron Davis' team lost in 5 games...

Like I said, the significance of the Kobe-Shaq alley-oop was HUGE. We are talking a large part of NBA history and a moment that nobody will ever forget because of its impact on the league and how it symbolized the beginning of the Lakers run with Kobe and Shaq (ensuing 3-peat, 4 of 5 Finals, the whole Kobe-Shaq feud, etc.). Not only that, but it was a damn great dunk.

The best dunk for me personally is the Kobe to Shaq because it started a dynasty for the Lakers..just watching the crowd reaction afterwards made it even crazier. Good ole memories for me

The BD over AK was pretty sick too, or TMac over Bradley!

For degree of difficulty, Kobe's windmill wins hands down

I went with BD

But why?

Reddd
12-05-2009, 07:48 PM
From this list I'd have to go with BD's, 'cause it's such a powerful one.
My favourite though is missing from the list, it's Horry over tayshaun prince in 2005 finals game 5, when Horry went nuts in the 2nd half.
