I think in the east i'll take Howard, Noah, Bosh def over him.

Not saying he's not having a great year, i've been very impressed. Doing what he should of been doing for a couple years now

Bosh play PF.

He's listed at PF and starts their, but every Raptors game I've seen, he's playing Center and Bargnani is the PF.

But i think he'll be the starting PF anyway.

Dwight will be the starting Center so it comes down to Brook Lopez, Bogut, and Noah.

Bosh does play PF, Bargnani is C. Its just that Bosh jumps at tipoff because he has a better chance of getting it than bargs.

Bosh usually D's up the opposing center and plays much more down low on both ends of the court.

Bargnani plays high post up to the three point line and can barely handle PFs.

Edit:

Look here, Bosh plays 10x as many minutes at C as he does at PF

Bogut's injuries have screwed him big time over his NBA career. Bucks fans that have watched him progress, saw a steady rise in his game every season but he'd get injured so much that he'd have to deal with being inconsistent from the lack of playing time.

The Bucks go on a terrible slide when Bogut goes down with the freak knee injury, he comes back and posts 22 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 4 blocks(including 2 or 3 in the latter part of the 4th quarter) and leads the Bucks to an important win to end their 4 game losing streak.

He is a huge reason Brandon Jennings had been having early season success, and with teams figuring out Jennings now, Bogut is more important to the Bucks then ever.

Even years when he sucks, Shaq always gets voted in...like last year...and the year before, why should this year be any different?

Based upon merit I'd go between Brook Lopez and Bogut after Dwight.
Some may argue that Lopez is playing on a crappy team and his stats are inflated but quite the opposite is true as well, since he hasn't had Devin Harris, Courtney Lee, and a few other starters to open up the lanes for him to get him easy buckets. Same is true with Bogut and the Michael Redd situation, except not exactly to the same extent as it is with Lopez.

I don't think Noah will get in, just don't like his game really. [Reminds me too much of David Lee (but with defense)] - not a fan is all.

Bosh plays PF he plays opposing C cuz his defense is some what better than Bargs, jus like Duncan a PF who plays against C but in dis case Bosh is mostly a PF

Dwight obviously is the starter, bench players are voted by the coaches so Bogut is a possibility if he stays healthy now.

At the same time though if the Bucks drop below .500 when the coaches have to vote I don't see both Jennings and Bogut makeing it and at this point Jennings definatley should be in it.

I think both Jennings and Bogut deserve it. They play for the Bucks though so I won't be surprised if neither make it. BUT THEY SHOULD!!

Jermaine Oneal hahahahhahah he plays good for a game and bad for 3... Yea and I think that Marcin Gortat deserves some consideration

How about David Lee, A. Bargnani, B. Lopez they are all better than Bogut(whose played in only 10 games, so we will see about that and those averages) Noah doesn't deserve to be an allstar

Bogut isn't very flashy but he's one of the leagues best defenders. One thing he has a knack for is blocking shots but keeping them in play and even grabbing the rejected shot himself, something you'd like to see guys like Dwight Howard and Lebron do, instead of swatting attempts into the seats.

East centers that deserve it more:

Dwight
Bogut
Brook Lopez
Al Horford
David Lee
Joakim Noah
Kendrick Perkins

Personally Im a fan of Bogut so i say yes. However, you got Howard starting. Hawks and Cavs have better records so im sure Shaq or Horford get the nod first. Lee/Noah/Lopez all have cases themselves as well. Bogut is definitely a future allstar

I don't hate Bargnani, I knock him sometimes because of comments from some Raptors fans.

Fans of the seven guys I listed know what they can do too.

ok this lopez talk needs to stop....HE IS NOT MAKING it...the nets are one of the worst teams ever..not a chance.

I dont see how bogut should make it over lee though

Lee - 19.3 PPG, 11.2 RPG, 3.3 APG, 1.1 SPG, .33 BPG
Bogut - 15.0 PPG, 10.2 RPG, 2.0 APG, .56 SPG, 1.97 BPG

bogut destroys him in blocks but lee wins everything else..AND Lee is shooting 56% to Boguts 49%

the teams are like 1 games apart as well.

If there are only two centers on the all-star team this year (coaches sometime put three on the team), then it should be Howard (obvious starter) and I think Brook Lopez, he is the only bright spot for the Nets this season. And if coaches/fans aren't too crazy about putting on Lopez because he's playing well on a poor team, then I'd give the other spot to Al Horford. He's a beast on the boards, a great defender and solid passer, and he's on a team that has turned itself around over the last couple of years.

But I like Bogut, I think he's is a solid center whose career and progress has been slightly slowed by injury.

ChiSox219

That is true, but if you are going to compare two players from different teams I would prefer rebound percentage. Bogut's reb% is slightly higher even though he averages few rebounds. That should make sense, given D'Antoni's coaching style producers more miss shots than the average team.

Also consider that while the only Knick regular over 10% is Al Harrington (10.5%), meaning, Lee has few teammates to help rebound/take away rebounds. Bogut plays with Ilyasova (15.9), Warrick (11.5%), and Mbah a Moute (10.0%).

It depends how you look at this, personally I believe if you play with other good rebounders, the individuals numbers will suffer but the team will benefit. The Bucks are 3rd in defensive rebounding % while the Knicks are 15th. So I think it's remarkable that Bogut is surrounded by capable rebounders and still able to grab as many boards as he does.

Hell no! He gets way to many fouls! And his numbers are, i'm sorry to say, pretty poor on a team that doesn't have much offensive weapons..

Seriously were talking about Joakim Noah being an all star?...Isn't that kind if like an oxymoron? How can they even be mentioned in the same sentence!

When you say the word All-star...I think...Kobe, Lebron, hell even Kevin Durant. But now, where throwing Joakim Noah in there! Can we just cancel the all-star game if it's gonna come down to this?

Yea hayes defensive ability is kind of wasted on a 7 footer that doesnt like to bang, or atleast one that shies away from contact.
