Even Kansas City is going hard after left-hander Erik Bedard(notes), who is likely to sign an incentive-loaded one-year deal.http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=jp-arguelles112409&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

If Dayton Moore is smart, he will wait and evaluate all options. Let's not forget the mistakes we made with Joe Mays and Sidney Ponson. If we can get him at a legit price, it's a sound move.

Bedard would be an awesome addition to Greinke in the rotation. I doubt GMDM goes after him, though.

Solid Option for the Royals without question. Teams like the Royals should be making moves like this. Take on a high risk/high reward type guy and if he pans out and the team doesn't go anywhere swing him to a contender at the deadline for a decent haul. The A's seem to do it every year.

Greinke and healthy Bedard would be NASTY

Unfortunately for your franchise, he is most definitely not.
