bucks fan here and since the bucks are playing pretty good without redd the thought that's been pondered in wisconsin and in the bucks forum is do the bucks really need redd? when healthy he's a great shooter and can go for 20 a game...paired with jennings would be awesome. but since the team is playing good without him, maybe we can afford to trade him....

so who would your team give up for michael redd?

better question is what would the bucks have to give another team to take Redd?

ak47 Yep, exactly what I was thinking. Both have bad contracts, so why not take the scoring wing the Jazz need?

The Bucks are probably going to hold on to Redd and unfortunately it might be a good idea. No guarantees that Jennings plays like this each night, and when he gets bigger PG's on him, Redd will come into play big time for Jennings as a guy he can just dish it off to and get some attention away from himself.

Raptors can only offer Banks and scrap players.

The Cavs would take on that contract though.

These guys are underrating his value, if the Cavs were sure that they could get Zydrunas back after waivers they would go for Redd. No doubt

Brand is still a 20 and 10 guy.

He just doesn't fit in with Philly.

And depending how you look at Redd, he can still be good or useless.

I don't think he'll ever score over 20 PPG while being healthy for a full season.

not a bad expiring contract in 2011, but people want money for next summer.
Their are teams that could use him though.
The Hornets, charlotte, cavs, Maybe they can nap stephen jackson.

No he isnt and not a single person in the know would agree with you

He wont regain his ups and overall explosion in a different uniform

Redd will be able to shoot till hes old and gray, theres nothing Brand can do to regain his hops and athleticism.

What you think his scoring average could be at any point is irrelevant. Thats really not how teams determine a players market value. Put it this way, Philly already regrets the decision and would trade him in a heartbeat for an expiring or even a 2 year deal. Thats how toxic his contract is, Redd has proven capable of shooting the ball regardless of the team around him, Brand cant score because hes lost his hops, he was never a low post threat so I dont know why Philly got him for that, but I definitely didnt expect him to struggle to this degree. If Brand was still the Brand pre injury he wouldnt have fell off like this statistically. Besides 20-10 can mean alot of different things, I dont deal with those kind of numbers and remember, neither do GM's. If by 20-10 you mean the level of play he used to put up, then your wrong. There is literally no precedence for a player ever going through such a transformation and believe me, plenty have tried.

Nothing, if only the Bucks paid for Redd's high -ss contract til it expires completely.

The Bucks are just desperate of getting rid of Michael Redd because he's taking up all their cap room, getting paid the most and he's inactive on the court. Why won't they trade with the Grizzlies since they have the dumbest GM in the world after trading P.Gasol for K.Brown.

i do that a lot because i have an interest in finding out what we could get for a certain player...i know for a fact that i never made one about bogut but i know that i made one about hardy and fielder last year. hardy got traded recently and you never know fielder's future as a brewer...so i just ask around on here once in a while to find out what teams would give us
----if we would go back to the hardy one from last off season it be interesting to see how much more we coulda got for him hah
