When you look at the starting line-up, you know Crawford won't be a starter if there's no injuries in the Hawks team. And if Crawford continues to play at this pace, damn, he is the 6th men of the year and by far!!!

I was not sure this summer when Atl signed Jamal because of is past year when he was not playing so well in GS, keeping the ball to much in his own hands, but right now he's showing a high team effort and plays real good on offense.

So do you agree and think that Crawford will be the 6th men of the year (even if I know that it is a bit early in the season)?

maybe 6th man, but he probably can't win sixth men award, as he's only one man. But Ginobli and Terry will be contenders for it as usual.

How many jamal crawfords can win it at once?

Yeah without a doubt the Crawfords will win 6th men of the year, "they" bring a lot of scoring and energy off the bench and they are always willing to take the big shot.

lol Why are you guys so unnecessarily mean ?

Let me be the first to actually answer his question. :pity:

I think Jamal can score with the best of them. Pretty much the only thing he can do is score so a bench role is perfect for him.

If he can drop 19 or 20 off the bench for them throughout the year and ATL gets pretty up there in the standings, I definitely think he has a shot.

Actually he's a pretty good contender for that award as for now

haslem disagrees

basically a double double as the 6th man off the bench deserves some thoughts for the award

I think Crawford has a great chance to get it, especially since the Hawks are looking like contenders.

You know what I mean.

If someone creates a stupid or baiting thread, you can be necessarily mean to them. An act of deterrence, if you will.

But not if someone's trying to ask a legitimate question.

I'd like to see Phoenix and Atlanta play; Crawford and Barbosa would be a nice reserve guard match-up.

LOL.

Jason Terry is averaging more points, assists, rebounds, and steals coming off the bench as 6th man in only 4 more minutes. Not to mention a better FG and 3 PT percentage.

Haha the first to answer the question and your post was number 12. Now also to answer the question I think he has a shot to win the award but do not think he will. The favorite has got to be Manu as long as he stays healthy enough. He contributes in too many categories while coming off the bench and his production has always been magnificent. Crawford is really only a scorer and a streaky one at that.

Yeah but Terry is a Maverick. The people here at PSD don't give them credit when credit is due.

If he averages more than Terry in points, he will get it. Thats if Manu is a starter.

I hate when the grammar patrol is out on full force, you know what he meant. No need to derail his thread.....

Anyways I always thought of JC as a superior player to Flip Murray but I didnt know that Flip actually led his team in +/- and that his defensive # were significantly more impressive than JC's so I started doubting myself. I dont expect JC to keep playing like this, but I never thought Flip would repeat last years success either so worst case scenario its a lateral move.

Does he have what it takes to be a 6th man of the year, no, not with Manu still around.

Ben GHordon starts, he's not coming off the bench.

Because Rip is injured. Once he gets back, Ben is the 6th man. And That will be in a week or two.
