Shaq is averaging 11.3 and 6.8 so far. So he probably wont make it.

There's also B.Lopez but his team is crap.

The only ones left who are probably worthy of being the backup C are Horford who is avergaing 13.4 and 10.2 and Bargnani who is getting 19.6 and 5.9

Most likely not.

Amar'e is listed as a C and he will rake in the votes.

I think he was the starting F last year(Can someone verify this).

Duncan is on as a F.

And when Gasol comes back, Bynum will go back down to earth and he wouldn't be averaging as much as he is now. I'd still take Amare over Bynum for starting C. Amar'e is a superstar so he'd more than likely get more votes. But it would probably be close.

Hahahahaha, thank you... I needed a laugh today, he is 26... What makes you think he won't continue to be an elite PF in the league??

Do you really think he'll be averaging 15 shots a game when Gasol gets back?? Wait, i'll answer that for you... NO. Only an ignorant Laker fan would think Bynum is better than Stoudemire.

Barg is getting close to 20 and 6. Lopez is getting 18 and 9.

They pretty much have similar stats so the record will obviously be the factor.

KG was elite. Bad record or not, he's gonna make it.

we're not talkin bout circa 2005, we're talkin bout present day 2009 and beyond. Amare plays no defense, he's too slender of a big man to be "intimidating" down low, though he's a good finisher, he's nowhere near at the level of finishing before he got hurt in 2005, he's not at all a good rebounder, he doesn't block many shots, he isn't a great passer, he needs Steve Nash to create for him 90% of the time. A lot has happened in 4 yrs bro, not saying Bynum is the best of the best of the big men, but Amare is nowhere near that either.

Who says he needs Nash to create for him?

You ever seen him play a whole season without Nash?

Amare is arguably a top 20 player in this league. Can't say the same thing for Bynum.

Yes, 2002-2003 (when he beat out YAO for ROY, so good for Amare) and 2003-2004. both seasons, I believe Starbury was the point-guard, and its not fair to judge someone in their first season or 2. But since 04-05 season (except 05-06 where he played like 3 regular season games), he's had Nash as the PG.

Unless the Suns' record totally outdoes the Lakers, 21-12 on 59% is too much of an improvement over 18-8 on 52% to start Amare.

Their last matchup against eachother...

ummm Nene is good, but nowhere near at the level that Bynum is playing at. And Al Jefferson, just comin back from Torn ACL injury, looks nothing like the AL J of last season. And his team is a freakin 1-10, no coach is gonna pick him this yr over Big Bynum. Sorry

there are no labeled pg, sg, sf, pf. its just 2 guards, 2 forwards, and a center. 2 guards could be 2 SG or 2PG, and 2 forwards could be 2 PF or 2 SF.
