This is a great question but i went with CP3. I think Nash is the best point guard right now but CP3 is just getting better and better even though hes having kind of a down year.

I took Nash though it is a hard question. What makes it even harder is that Nash's prime wasn't even until he was what? 30? I have to take the two MVPs with Nash. And for some reason I can never think of CP3 as not an injury risk. Fair or unfair.

cp3, he gets his stats without the running game

I'd take Paul, better rebounder, better on the drive, better defense. I love Nash to death, and not just because I'm Canadian, but because he is so great at getting the ball to other players, making teammates better and encouraging others to share the ball. But Paul is better all around, and he's younger so if I were building a team for the future Paul is a no brainer.

If its just for this season, I guess I'd have to take Nash after that spill Paul took on his ankle though. Here's to hoping its not serious.

When CP3 has two MVPs, let me know.

If Nash was more physically gifted, and therefore a better defender, I think he'd be close to going down as one of the 2 or 3 best PGs ever. He might be the best shooting PG to ever play (didn't do research, just guessing), and his passing is obviously well known. He's run one of the most prolific offenses for a long time.

Paul probably will finish ahead of Nash because of his defense, but this is definitely a closer call than most will make it out to be.

 ur an absolute twat and have no idea what your talkin about

"or the guy who is only proven great with an entire roster"

When Nash won the MVP in 05/06, he had a very average team

Marion was the only other star on the team, if you can even call him one dude cant even create his own shot.

And then the rest were just role players - bell, diaw, barbosa(missed 25 games), tim thomas( he missed alot of games too, like 60), james jones.

Nash carried that team you fool and made them look great by giving them open shots all day long

only a suns fan gets angry. mustve been a great post.

regardless...one year where he played vantastically that falters my statement. too bad his other years prove me right. besides that was the first year that he had dantoni and he had sum decent shooters. decent enough to get 10.5 apg? maybe not. def not withought leading the leagues pace. cp3 has done almost as much with less talent and with less experience. he hasnt even hit his prime yet. cp3 could b legendary by the time its all said and done. nash wont b historic. 2 mvp's at least one was given to him basicly. hell he's known more right now for nvr gettin the suns over the hump than he is for his mvp's.
