Prime Shaq with prime Kobe, perfect compliment, no question about it.

I would have to say Kobe. Mainly because he has a great jump shot which spreads the floor, moreso that the other choices.

Kobe because of the jump shot.

Agreed... Without the injury and if Shaq didn't leave Orlando, they could have been a great duo...

Kobe or Penny

Penny is a great fit because he is a big guard that can run the offense. They also only played together 3 years in which one year Penny was a rookie. Made the Finals and made the ECF together.

It's because Penny was only good for such a short period of time...and he lacked the confidence and "killer instinct" of a Wade or Kobe.

If Penny could stay healthy, id take him over all of them.

What are you basing that off of? I mean, the guy got to the Championship just a couple years out of college, what more do you want from the guy? He got there with a Shaq that wasn't even close to his prime. Serious question though, why are you saying he lacked a killer instinct?

People really do forget how good that guy was before his injury. He was a big pg who presented mismatches against any team they faced. Its a shame to not be able to see what he could of been in his prime

I've watched Penny play. I didn't say that he lacked for accomplishments with Shaq, just that he often deferred more than Kobe or Wade did.

Lebron not even an option here? How could Magic and Kareem coexist? I'd say they are very close to a type of players Shaq and Lebron are...

Bean in his prime + prime shaq? the lakers would have dominated more then they did throughout the last decade

Kobe didn't work man they were not a good combo. Wade worked. And I dont think Lebron wll work.

It's not even working out right now.

My answer to this thread is Prime Shaq + Prime Shaq.
One would play power forward and the other would play center.

i'm not saying that Prime Kobe and Prime Shaq isn't unstoppable,

BUT

i would love to see a Prime Vince Carter and Prime Shaq. Shaq also wanted to play with VC when he was still a Raptor.

I'd have to say Dwade, Kobe and Penny just have egos way to big to play with Shaq and LeBron and Shaq both like to play inside so they'd take space from eachother, I think Wade and Shaq complement eachother best, however all four of those duos could be fantastic.

I think it was already proven that Kobe is the correct answer here.

Prime Shaq played only with Kobe. In Orlando he was too young, in Miami and Cleveland far away from his best years already...
