Both of them were young teams and had good talent around two of the best PG's in the league and they were top 4 in the West but.... What happened after that?

the Whorenets have about 3 good players, after that they're trash. Peja fell apart, mo peterson sucks.

The jazz can still be good, barring injuries.

They werent the same teams last year either.... if you didnt know Hornets had the worst game by a team in playoff history and Jazz were an 8 seed.... Im not talking about just this season Im going by 2008 for the Hornets and 2007 & 2008 for the Jazz

It's only been 4 games, give them time to pick it up.

Oh well in that case it's because other teams passed them by, especially the Nuggets and Blazers.

I think the Jazz are gonna pick it up after a slow start. Hornets, I'm not so sure.

I think boozer's situation is a little distracting to the jazz.

Mavs gave it away. They were up 4 with 9 seconds left and missed all 3 free throws. Plus Dirk fouled out with like 6 minutes left in the 4th.

The rest of the league got better while the Jazz stayed the same.

The Hornets are extremely weak at the 2 and 3, they need better wing players.

Don't be an ungracious turd about the win. Hornets pulled it out, credit to them. But if you'd like to discuss whipping boys, let's revisit the season opener of the Hornets/Spurs. Hehe...

Ya they played 47 mins and 51 secs hard and then thought 'hey what the hell lets give em this one'. No team gives away a win

Boozer needs to leave the jazz, he is a cancer, he isnt playing well, AK shoots too much, and the whole team looks out of rhythym, the jazz will pick it up, but you must remember, although it seems minor, the jazz dont have cj miles or korver, two of their best shooters

well think about it, the Hornets and Jazz were good when Deron and Paul were on their rookie contracts, both have now signed a big extension pushing the teams towards/over the luxury tax, and because of this and the bloated contracts of AK/Peja they havnt been able to do much as they have taken up any money space new free agents could have had.

also both teams had big injuries last year that everyone seems to forget, and this year is only what, 4 games old.

but the Jazz have the Knicks pick to look forward too, a possible Boozer trade and maybe another lottery pick if they continue to suck, or a playoff place so its win win, dunno about the Hornets though.

Not a bad spot to be in.

Just give both teams time, BTW that was a good game against the Mavs by both teams, really close.

Wow the Hornets just got dismantled by the Raptors. New Orleans really needs some non pathetic wings. Posey and Peterson = junk and Okafor really can't take his game to the next level like I thought he could years ago, Bosh ate him for dinner tonight.

Jazz just needed a lil time after a very sloppy start, I think they and Boozer are back on track now. gettin their shooters CJ and Korv back wont hurt either but that wont be for a coupla weeks yet
