Assume the Magic and the Celtics are the top two teams in the East which they are. Who in your opinion is the third ranked team in the East? i know its only been 3-4 games and all. so dont get into a twist. im just asking your opinions on whos going to be the third best teams after the magic and celtics by the end of the year.

The Cavs. They'll get it together. A lot of different faces that need to learn to play together. Once they do...they'll start racking up the wins like last year.

Although I think both Orlando and Boston are better, you can't discredit Cleveland as much as you are after 4 games.

Gotta give it to the Cavs. It'll just take some time for the team to mesh but once they do watch out.

i think when it comes down to it, i think the cavs just wont end up challenging the magic or the celtics come playoff time. i think the hawks could even be better then the cavs. dont over look the hawks

I'm gonna say Heat, it maybe homerish, but if JO can stay healthy and Beasley develops, I like the Heats chances

its b/w the Heat,Cavs and Hawks.

Right now i would say

3-Cavs
4-Hawks
5-Heat

this can change in 2 weeks if the Cavs dont show improvement and the Heat continue to get better.

Milwaukee Bucks for the win! haha, on a serious note, its the Cavs. No offense, but all the Heat has is Jermaine O'Neal and Dwyane Wade, other than that, players on that team are scrubs!

Chronz

No way is it the Heat. Or do you guys really think Jermaine will stay healthy and shoot 80% all year?

Michael Beasley is a scrub? I'd go as far as to say he'd be the best player on the Clippers. If you disagree present an argument.

Anyways, I think it's the Cavs, then the Hawks/Heat (Heat if JO is 100%, Hawks if JO is 13 and 6 JO)

Cavs. Even if the Cavs end up with a better record than the Celtics or Magic, they are still not better (meaning a healthy Celtics and Magic would both beat them). They lack a killer instinct.

4 games into the season and it looks like people are already writing off the Cavs... Fine by me. I don't mind being a dark horse... Being one of the favorites got us nowhere last year, so i'll take whatever.

Obviously the Cavs are the 3rd best team in the East, probably higher, but because they didn't mesh and incorporate their 3 new players immediately and lost their first two games (one of which was to arguably the best team in the NBA), teams such as the Bulls, Raps, Heat, Wiz and Hawks should be considered better than them...

no i was expecting people to do the logical thing and vote for the Cavs, who are clearly a top 3 team in the East...i doubt Miami gets a top 5 seed, to be honest

For the record, I voted Cavs. I just don't get how the Raps fans suddenly think they're the voice of reason after they crowned AB the next great center, Calderon a top 5 PG, and them the 4th seed.

I think we now see they are the Wizards of the past.

I hate the Cavs, but their still clearly better than the rest of the East. The only other team that is debatable are the Wizards. Man, would I love to see them play against each other in the playoffs with these current teams!
