Wally Sczerbiak and Stromile Swift I feel are 2 solid guys who can be essential to a championship contending team looking for 1 more role player. Which title contenders do you think could use the services of these 2 guys, who played last season in the NBA, but are not on any NBA teams this season??

i'd take Swift off the bench in Miami as a back-up C/PF.

You're forgetting Gerald Green, the NBA God.

Wally rejected a offer from the Nuggets, I dont think he has much interest in playing unless he gets a real nice offer.

Swift was in training camp with Philly I believe but he got cut.

Swift is probably the Best NBA Bust Ever(if that's even possible)

No, there are LOTS of players picked in the high lottery that were absolutely nothing in the NBA. Swift was at least a solid role player for several years.

Or did you mean best player of all the busts? I cant tell. Thats not even true though, that would probably be Joe Smith.

why is it always "title contenders"? why is it never "non title contenders"? :eyebrow:

2 vets, who have not won a ring yet, would not go to play for the knicks, bucks, pacers, bobcats, or the grizzlies (wait nvm :D)

I don't think either have anything to offer to a contender at this point.

The Spurs probably chose Ratliff over Swift and Bogans over Wally

Wally will be somewhere by the end of the year, wouldn't be surprised if it's Cleveland.

And you're completely right about Swift.

No, but you do need more than Karl or Jawad if someone gets hurt

I would love to have either of them if the price is right. If they are serious about playing than I would definitely sign Wally to the vets min. The more firepower the better.

Both of those two have hardly played, Danny Green would get the nod ahead of them, and with Delonte back Parker and Moon can both play SF if need be.

Szczerbiak is really on his last legs though... I appreciated what he bought to the Cavs last year but the guy has lost any athleticism he had. He would try and play D, run down the other end of the floor and just wait at the three point line for a kick from LeBron. I started to get sick of watching him play

I really thought that Swift signed with the Suns... hmmm... don't know why I thought that.

I am surprised that Wally remains unsigned. He reportedly turned down a few non-guaranteed contracts during training camp. It seems like he only will play if he is guaranteed a contract.
